While awaiting the arrival of my model, I've been searching the net for info and pix of the car. I only found one small one. Does anybody know of a site with pictures of the car? TIA.

G'Day Mate,
Try www.hotmemorabilia.com.au This site gives all the details of the 4 models in the series. Hope this helps. Good luck.

I was just wondering - those of you who have this great car what is the level of detail like? By looking at the website that Ford 17 posted the detail looks amazing!!!.
Is it as good as BIANTE or dare I say 'better'?

Thanks.

I d say Biante is better...and cheaper.....but i think we had this discussion a few weeks before...just check the threads....

SmartyMarty - thanks. I found the old threads...man alot of reading. Well it seems it may be overpriced from all the postings but at the same time it is a great model and if you want one then buy it.

Thanks for the tip SmartyMarty.

While the Moffat Mustang is expensive it is every bit as good as a Biante model on the outside and every bit better than Biante when it comes to interior and engine detail. This model has the best interior and the best engine detail I have ever seen. Unlike Biante who can stretch 10's of thousands of models out of one mould (XY as an example) this car is limited to 6000 only with the remaining 2 cars to be made in the series requiring a mould modification hence the dearer price. A1 model and an A1 site to go with it.

firstly..... i'd like to say that biante does appeal to me more, simply because of the more reasonable price. detail-wise - mustang is better, but probably not by a big enough margin to pay so much more.

thanks diecastdude - excellent site on info and pics. it's a site that even non-moffat fans would love i reckon.

Thanks for the info. Any pix of the real car? BTW, I'm Ben V on Scale 18's forum.
Ever since I saw a movie of the Bathurst 1000 at the SF auto show(around 1982) , I've been a fan of that race and the teams and cars involved. Got into V8 supercars when I read an Aussie car magazine(forgot the name) at a customers office. Being a GM man, I've gotten most of the Holden race cars and a few Falcons.
V8 supercars are my type of touring car. No buzzy 2 liter fours or 'sillouette' tube framed NASCAR or Trans Am cars either.:D

I agree with you Ben, that ATCC cars look "normal" in comparison to monsters from DTM and NASCAR. I guess that's what that makes them appealing to the overseas guys.
As for me, I'm a fan of Japanese cars. Before you guys start gunning for me, you'll have to come to the US and see for yourself what kind of crappy passenger cars the Detroit's "Big Three" put on the road. For the last decade, American automakers have put all the R&D money into heavy SUVs and trucks.

I agree. APart from its 'Hefty" price tag, the Mustang is a model which has the same outstanding detail as you would expect from Biante models.
I must admit that although I am a Holden Man, I do admire the detail it beholds and find that it makes an excellent add on to the Moffat Collection.

Cheers!:D

The Moffat Mustang Car is great. Thats for sure.

As a Package ?well heres my concerns, its box end flaps catch when opening .Its certificate is in a sealed envelope which seemed a shame that you have to damage the insignia envelope to open it.The certificate has a Photocopy of Moffats Signature ,
and last of all they are not numbered, car or certificate .

I would like to know what other touring cars (if any) Hot Memorabilia will be doing when they eventually release the three Moffat cars.
