View Full Version : BIANTE Premium, Classics and AUTOart - what's the DIFF???

I was wondering what is the difference between the following labels from BIANTE:

- Biante Premium
- Biante Classics
- AUTOart

I have noticed that the Holdens are AUTOart and the majority of Fords are Premium or Classics, which in my opinion have more accurate and better detail (I am going off the Lowndes Green Eyed Monster compared to the ATCC Holdens released and Bathurst Holdens). For example a few little bits and pieces I have noticed are:

** the LHS and RHS rear windows on the Holden is not like it is on the 'real' bathurst race car

** cables are painted on instead of physical cables like in the Lowndes car? I thought it would be easier to use cables instead of painting a few thin lines to look like cable. I must admit though I thought these were real until closer inspection.

** I also noticed that the Holden has the DataDot (I think it is) on the rear pillar which is not on the Bathurst car.

Do Ford pay more money to have these produced under this label???

The Brock and some of the Moffat collections are BIANTE Classics, yet the Moffat/Bond twin set is going to be under the AUTOart label.

Can someone help me out?

Thanks,

Cameron

Goldie, you have answered your own question, the difference is the visual differences that you have pointed out.

What we are all hoping is that the Holdens for 2002 will also be Premium grade issues

Admin, If you read this one can we have some hints about what the Holdens will be this year ie same spec as before or Premium like the Fords or are you going to keep it a surprise.

Cheers Glenn

I was told the cars with Autoart on the boxes are produced by Autoart and the cars with Biante on the boxes are produced by Biante. They are not made at the same factory. I.E. HRT cars are Autoart factory, Lowndes car is another factory.

Glenn,

So is that the only difference? They do seem heavier as well. Do you know if Ford ask for the cars to be Classics or Premium???

I hope the new Holdens are Classics or Premium because the only major difference to me is the paint work (please BIANTE).

It's simple, guys.

Fords are simply better, 1:18 or 1:1:D

Maybe Ford get the better model cars cause they can't win the 1:1 showdown ;)

Goldie naw mate sheep are HRT supporters. Kidding ok dude, mellow. :)

Hey nice web page as well, it looks the good. Oh and I see you have taste in football sides.

How do you think those mighty eels will finish up this year. Are we ready to put some wins together and make the GF again?

Well done again.

Cheers
Mark

Hey Mark,

Yeah I think us HRT supporters were all cloned ;) see now Ford are trying to copy Holden (we were sheep first). Maybe us HRT fans are like bulls too - follow red? Maybe Ford need a red car, as they say red goes faster? :D

Thanks for the comments, glad you like my site. Did you like the Bathurst Search? All I need to do now is add some pics of the cars that raced during the years so that they are returned with the results.

I hope they start winning soon and it will be better if they start putting the wins together now so they keep that winning streak going through the finals

Goldie,

Compliments on the website. Great stuff!

Not sure about that 'slippery' logo up the top that Mustang1966 commented on. I'm a Sharks supporter, you see.... and.... ah.....

We beat you last week :D

Don't worry, I know we're only as good as our last game!

Cheers, ET

Hey ET,

Thought you may have been a sharks supporter with that name ;)

Yeah you beat us fair and square no complaints about that. Was a great game and was good to watch for a change. One point eh? Could have been more if you had a real goal kicker. Looks like it is going to be a close bottom 4 this year ... good luck.

Thanks for the compliments. Did you sign the guest book?? It's nice to know who visits.

ET there is no need to bring up last weekend ok. enough said :( your a Ford bloke so I guess it is OK.

Goldie, Yeah I did like your bathurst stuff it was excellent. I hope to make my first bathurst this year, just waiting to find out if I am on shift that weekend.

I also loved your page on tropical fish. I see you like neons, a little tips for you. Add a few Gouramis to the tank. Not the little dwarf ones, go the big yellow and blue ones. Mate that should add some life to the tank. ;) a Oscar would not go astray either.

Many years ago I started a new tank, with no idea about fish. I added tetras and a few other fish. I helped a mate of mine by tuning his VC Commodore and in return he brought me some yellow Gouramis. I thought they were so cool chasing each other around the tank and after a few days the tetra population dwindled. Then I noticed a few half neons floating around the tank. Guess what? No more neons for the tank. LOL Maybe it was a sign from above to never touch a commodore again Hmmmmm

No great job and will go and sign the book.

And are you guys going to oran park? Free beer if your a Ford head LOL

Oh and one more thing guys, remember All Ford day this sunday - Peter Warren Ford and what a day it is.

Cheers
Mark

GTSCoupe got it right, I have asked t he question too from people in the know. Ford and Holden models are made by different factories.

Mark,

If you do make bathurst this year you will have a BLAST! As you know it was my first time last year and it was the best weekend!!! Hope you can make it up there... I will stay away from you ford folk though ;) especially @Bathurst

Oh yeah an Oscar that would go down a treat - my poor little fish wouldn't last 5minutes. I don't mind the neons just adds a bit of colour and the other tetras don't grow very big. Blue Rams and the Corys are the best though.

LMAO - yeah maybe you should have stayed away from the commodore, poor neons.

Yep will be @ Oran Park on Sunday ... FREE BEER did you say - OK I will go and get an FTR shirt...LOL!!! Hmmmmm for free beer that's a tough choice to wear the enemy colours for a day. I wouldn't have to cheer for them though would I?

XR8/Mark - Thanks for signing :) if you want anything put up here let me know and I will see what I can do.

Might bump into you @ Oran Park.

Goldie,

They had to it Ba "code name for sheep" as sheep only follow other around the paddock. In the case of the track they follow HOLDENS. Which is code for "hold on" I see another ford is on the side of the track.

This is all tongue in cheek guys.
