the wheels look a bit different to that of Elanora? Apart from that, it looks cool. Wonder what manufacturer made it?

Can you say "Misleading advertising" ??

The model pictured is a "Road Legends" (Yat Ming) '68 ..
readily available for $35.00 ...

The "Eleanor" movie car was a (modified) ' 67 ... (same body shape)
I believe the actual colour was "Brittany Blue".. (a blue-grey colour)

i just noticed - is there a reason as to why that picture in the auction is taken from the rear of the car??? is it because the front does not look like the actual thing in the movie?

kid, you've answered your own question...
No, the front does NOT look like the movie car.. As I mentioned before, wrong year for starters.. and wrong colour..

I do have one of these (same as the one on ebay), and it's not a bad model.. IMO, good value at $35.00, but it is NOT the Eleanor car..

BTW, there is a RUMOUR getting around that Autoart may be considering the Eleanor car... Makes sense, since the overall body shape is the same as the '68's that they've already done..

No doubt Admin will let us know if / when this happens to be so...

coming to think of it, even the back of the model looks "wrong".

anyway, autoart will more than likely put it into it's movie collection along with the likes of Bond DB5.

Thanks for that mustang1966, I am looking for a Eleanor car, that is the closest one I have seen.

Will wait to see if the rumor that Jed stated will happen, that Autoart makes 1.

Cheers

I haven't seen the movie, but ERTL will release two Mustangs from the "Gone in 60 seconds" this summer as a part of their Entertainment Series. The first Mustang is 1970 Boss Mustang 429, the secomd one is '73 Mustang MACH.
