hi guys i just recived my tango xb falcon from biante. i like the look of this car other than the grill issue and the ride height some have mentioned. i noticed this model has chrome trim around all window frames front, rear and sides.and i also noticed the door sag problem has been fixed on this version. i will probably get another one so i will have a stock version. this one is going to get modified a little. i made a front spoiler not like the race versions biante offerd that doesnt look bad. i have a couple of rear spoiler options and a lot of wheel options. i put it up in my webshots link below under project tango xb falcon. i put pics up of the stock appearance some wheel sets and a couple of different rear spoilers. if your interested give it a look and tell me what you think would look good on this car. i havent put any wheels on it yet. i may go as far as adding a monster tach to the dash pad. some traction bars & maybe a nos tank in the trunk. im open for ideas on this one.:D

Hi,

Just looked thru some of your photos of your models...they look great!

Question - is it easy to swap the wheels on to your Biantes? I have never pulled the wheels off and wondered if they just pull off and further to this are all the wheels of [say] Ertl or GMP compatable...do they fit straight on?

Cheers

I was wondering that too! I have a Red Pepper XA GT that I want to fit either Globes or the rally GT alloys (no idea what they're called, but they're also 5 spokes). And the rear bootlid spoiler as fitted to those modded Falcons. Trouble is, I can't get through to the bloke who supposedly sells the spare wheels etc. Are there ever any on ebay?

hi hot 351 & nick, the biantes are not the same as gmp or ertl wheels. the ertls & gmps have back hubs that connect to the wheels with a locking tab in the center of the wheel that snaps on the axles. autoart wheels exchange pretty easy with biantes as most of them have the same set up. with the biantes you have to disconnect the dick brake set up first as its in between the wheel and the back hub. most biante wheels are just a solid face wheel with a hollow tube comming out from the center of the wheel. there is a locking tab that slides up into the tube on the back of the wheel. the trick is trying to remove the wheel from the locking tab. the tab snaps on the front spindles & rear axles thats what makes the wheels roll. i usually take a ertl or gmp wheel and remove the stock locking tab from them. then once i get the biante wheel off and remove the locking tab from them. i super glue the locking tab off the biante wheel into the hole on the back of the ertl or gmp wheel. then all you have to do is snap them on the axles and they will roll if you dont break any thing in the process. are you still with me? i used plastic off of a sprue tree on any plastic model to use as a spacer to jack the rear ends up on the xa falcons. just cut out a couple of pieces either 2mm x 2mm and place them under the rear end. you can use a screw driver to prise up the leaf springs just enough to slide the plastic spacer inbetween the rear end housing and the chassis. it works well. and best part you cant see them there. if you use any color plastic besides black you can get a bottle of model black touch up paint and touch up the spacers and you will never know they are there. and to nick once in awhile i see the gmp crager ss wheels on ebay. check out these sites.
