The newsletter on 13 May mentioned:

Trevor has just returned from a vist to the factories in China with some great news on upcoming model productions status .We are going over the information now and will have some great news for everyone in next weeks newsletter.

I was wondering if anything has been announced we regard to this?

Was this only for 'Development Approved' listed models or were they new models not yet announced?

Just curious...

I would have listed a few cars, but the situation in China at the moment and has been over the past 2 months is:
Complete shutdown of all power for 2 days per week.
Some factories tried working at night, but that is now being curtailled.
Ports are also restricted in their power, so shipping is very scarce and has to be booked weeks in advance.
The situation will continue for some time yet...maybe even into 2005.
So, as a result, its a bit chaotic and we cannot predict with any certainty what is coming and when.

All we can report is when it is finally on a ship and sailing.
Sorry.

doesn't sound too pleasing on your behalf admin. But I guess this means we get the chance to catch up with our collection...for the time being anyway?

extremely hot weather so all those billion people are using more power so their power grid is being streched to the limit. They need to build more power plants. A lot of brownouts over there atm.

My sister's company has dealings with China for years, she told me.
Her boss said, a few years ago that where he was they had power cut off for afew hours a day..:(
