All model collectors beware when buying off ebay , I have had an unpleasent experience with a certain seller who is still trading on ebay today despite all attemps to resolve the situation.
I believe I have no alternative now but to involve the police in filing a rit against this seller for fraud because ebay is powerless to do anything with him.
The item I won was a blue XW GTHO mint in box using BUY IT NOW for $159.75,
He was first slow in returning his first ever email after I had already put funds in his account which included Insurance and postage. $173.75, his reply was sorry will send car stright away, never came did it after a week waiting, the next few emails I asked for postage details which he avoided and Insurance receipt No on insured item , He now refused to cooperate at all wanting to give full refund.
I went with square trade which was a waste of my time because he told them he was suffering stress and sickness and may have to close trading ,wanted to give me a refund , he wouldn't supply them the postal details either and then backed out of the mediation process.
I was told by the mediator he was sending a refund which hasn't arrived either, thats a week ago.
Car was won on the 8 th of May money was deposited in his Bank on 11 th.
I believe this creep sold my car to an enonomus ebay emailer who offered him a higher price , he never ever sent the car because he couldn't supply the postal details and was to willing to give a refund without seeking Australia Post first.

Check out this ebay item Number for your protection 4210280303

Did you get his address and phone number from ebay?
Also did you leave negative feefdback for him to warn other bidders?

Also i would send him another email saying you have all his details and you are going to the police so they can investigate that matter. I did this one to a seller who wasnt going to send me a item and it scared his enough to finally send me the item.

Out of interest how did you pay for the item?

I payed for it by direct deposit, I had already told him that if he doesn't come clean I will have no choice but to go with police action, this still hasn't detired him, He even told ebay I was sending him abusive emails which is a complete lie, All I ever said was that I have been fustrated with other sellers at the time, one was a bit dishonest with their items description and I had give her grace and would do the same for him if he could send the car ,
This was taken as a threat so he told them.
I haven't put in any negitive feed back yet because I was hopeing that Australia Post or another buyer of his could supply me with the post office address where he sends his items, it's usually on the post box, I could find out if it ever was sent or not and if it wasn't his fault I wouldn't put any negitive feed back, but if it were proven that he hadn't sent it and was still offering a refund I would get the money back and than give it to him.
As I said he hasn't now sent the refund, not that I asked for one, that's what the ebay mediator told me he was going to do.
This seller has a 100% feed back as I do but so does every body untill they rip someone off.

Here's something you might check:

I've bought two cars so far - one's still in transit (not from this person) and have had no trouble.

One was an Austin Westminster and the other is the 1/18 Mark Webber Mercedes CLK!

Good luck, Wesley. Internet Fraud is the fastest-growing form of crime in Australia at the moment.

hello wesley
i know we have had our differences in the past but it is unfortunate that for whatever reason this AH has decided not to honour your contract. fortunately you made a direct deposit and his bank details will give the blues his license number and other identifying details.
good luck and may the force be with you

ON similar ground did anyone see the report on Channel Ten (QLD) last nite bout the aussie arrested in America for fraud on ebay? he has apparently ripped a number of ppl off earlier in the year by offering LA Lakers season tickets. the scam has reportedly netted him over $1M  and when the irrate buyers contacted him, he responded w/ emails stating that he was way over here and there was nothin that they could do........man there are some phoneys out there

Maybe someone should start a thread here of Sellers they have dealth with that are good !

??

Mods ??

3 reasons that is not viable and a waste of time

1. the seller in wesleys case had a perfect feedback rating before this event, so there are no guarantee of complete satisfaction with any transaction

2.can you trust everyone in here and their recommendations,
if you have been here long enuff you will know there have been suspect vendors here is the past and revealed ungracefully

3.biante alongside this forum runs their own auctions and its probably not the right platform to work an attack plan on the competitor.

there are always gunna be bas3333s out there...fact of life

I have finally received an email from this seller , the negitive feedback must of prompted them to reply , His wife is now taking over his selling she says and has offered to refund the full amount on the 16th of this month, I'll be waiting,
I hope they arn't trying to buy more time because it will be their last time, after that it will be stright down to the local watch house and I won't be giving any grace this time.
I better see what they wrote in my feed back
Had a look , so he was warned to expect people like me was he?, by who I might ask, not from ebay and he can not do anything right by me , well if you call lieing about the date he sent the item is right, and acusing me of threating him in a email when I was offering him the chance to still receive positive feedback if he would only send the item is right , and failing to supply the post office address and the date the item was sent details when asked for is right ,and then stopping all contact with me when I asked for the Insured item receipt number which he should have if he ever sent the item is right, and refusing to continue in the square trade dispute when I asked the mediator to ask him to supply the once again postal details is right ,then I dont know what is right any more, maybe I should start doing things the way he does, I might be able to piss a few people off and I might even be able to see what it is like punching out a few sets of number plates each day.
One that I could punch out which would be a great reminder to me while in there would be (psj859 ) that was my first XY 302 GS number plate and it sure would remind me of what doing right can get you into.
Cheer's every body and thanks Malik for your nice words.
Regards; Wesley
