Yes but being an Honorary life member (1000+ posts) doesn't mean we are always Honorary:D And means we are stuck here for life, or perhaps have been here for a life time already.

And once you're an Honorary Life Member you get free models, get the chance to decide which of your favourites get modelled next, and in which colours.

Whereas us Model Addicts hope that when we grow up, we'll become Honourary Life Members:D

As Nick said, you have to be an Honorary Life Member for requests like that:D

I don't even think the number of posts or a 'status' as such should be displayed, as on some forums people just like to watch their number of posts get higher and higher, although on here I don't think it is like this as most of us are 'mature' adults? Well I think so anyway :)

Grahame, I found this older thread which explains why 12 months ago, there was a renaming of some of the levels. Avatar Names (http://forums.biante.com.au/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1962&highlight=names)

Below is what they currently are....
0-249 posts Member
250-499 posts Senior Member
500-999 posts Model Addict
over 1000 posts, Honorary Life Member

Like Cam said earlier, it's not about your member status, but rather that you can enjoy this forum for what it is. A great place to discuss Australian model cars & everything associated with them.

enjoy. :)

You're well on your way! I got my "status" by boring everyone with posts about Phase IVs, RPO83s, Group B rally cars (and I'll get those modelled soon, KiwiRallyFan - let me know what colours you want) and sundry other nonsense, just to make up for us Poms failing to achieve anything else. And I can now get my Cobra in 1:64, did you notice? 1:18. 1:43, Option 96, Option 97, and now 1:64........ah, the privilege of Honorary Life Membership. I've also commissioned Biante to make the Austin Allegro in 1:12, as my Dad had one. That's the next release, I believe. Form an orderly queue.

Just the original colours thanks Nick, but if you can get some Rally New Zealand versions you'll be my friend for life......:)

PS. How many Allegros did you promise Biante you would buy?
