I was having a minor brainstorm this morning (trust me it hurt a lot), and was contemplating about the possibility of Admin giving the 1:12 scale a go.
I realise at this stage it is only feeling the waters, but perhaps an 'advanced order' like registry of interest might help to decide.
From what I can recall of past posts, there were a few people expressing interest in the car if it was made. Wonder what the minimum order would have to be to cover the development costs at $600.00 a pop.
The other thing comming to mind is that if this project ever takes off, might pay to keep a tab on interest for future releases. Personally I would buy one of these cars once every two years, if is something I really like could be one a year, but no more than that.
Hope this helps.

It is already happening. Look in the past posts and all will be told

Without trying to be blant Mark, there is nothing concrete about this model yet, maybe you should read up on the old posts.
Currently is only an idea to produce a 1:12 of some sort.
Maybe Admin could set us straight.

That, believe it or not, just covers costs.

Do NOT ask me what it is, because the real car does not exist yet, but is sensational!!

And, because one car cannot be a Ford AND a Holden, the following year we will do the same thing for the other brand.

NUFF SAID!!

Any more news on this model?

It seems that I got two opposing pieces of information about this model. The one v8coupe dug up and the one I was told. Apologies Mark.

Cool.

It should be great when it comes.

I was told from a very reliable source that biante played with the idea of the 1:12 but it came up unfeasable. i was also told that the first one was going to be a falcon X something GT. the only thing i could think of is that some info had been accidentaly leaked onto the web site and this guy was just trying to disolve it before too much was found out.

i think a 1:12 FX/FJ would look absolutely stunning.

Think, about it why would they do an FJ at $660.00 a piece, do you think they would sell 2000 units.

If (the big if) it's going to be done it will be something commercially viable, the biggest hint was;

Biante quote
Do NOT ask me what it is, because the real car does not exist yet, but is sensational!!

I don't know when this was posted but "was it prior to the launch of the GTS Coupe", if it was then, and it's to be a road car, the FORD X?GT / XR / R7 whatever is a logical choice. I hope it's not a road car as I personally would'nt spend the money, but thats just me I prefer cars that I do not see every day on the road.

I still think a 1/12th scale model of the Bathurst winner is the way to go. Hope Biante think so as well.

Hati, and others
I found the above quote in the thread "12th Scale Aussie muscle".
