Gibson #00 AU XR8 1/18 model

I have got one of these early flagon's to celebrate Lowndes deflection to ford.
Now that the new car is out and the interior is the silvercolour toghether with the greeneyes ,is the above model still worth keeping or is it better to get rid of this one (Blue interior) and get the latest one
and what does the model looks like under the bonnet as I do have not removed the straps
what's the oppinion of the forumcontributors about this one
I am more into Formula 1 but do all the time fall for these souped up Sydney taxi's as the detail and the presentation is of the highest order and I do appreciate a good made model :confused:

As an F1 fan, would you get rid of the 2000 Schumacher car because you just bought the 2001 car? Of course not.
The old Stone Brothers Blue interior car that Craig first drove will be the 'Track Red XY' of the AU's...you watch in a year or so...especially if Craig wins the title this year.
Glad you like the detail..it is our best model yet!

Excuse my non knowledge; but is this car not the same model or am I wrong and maybe this is a different car altogether

For this model, as the real car was brand new in most areas,
almost the whole model, apart from the body shell is brand new.
And, the 2002 car will have another batch of new components and livery!

Well, all i can say is that this model, like it's predecessor, will be well worth hanging on to...
