greg murphy started at the back of the field at winton round 7 to finish first .
it is amazing what a kiwi can do when you put him behind the weel of a v8 supercar.
also another **** round for mark skaife who tried to make a move on bright .
bright spun and skaife went with him.
bright was able to continue but skaife was stuck in the muduntill the next saftey car.
finally the day has come for the holden fans marcos ambrose spun by john bowe ( WHAT A LEGEND) .
marcos ambrose was stuck in the mud like mark skaife but let the some air out of his tyres which gave him more power.
what a race.
the best one yet i have to say.
cheers

You seem to post a lot and that can be a good thing but you need to reliase that in Perth at this point it's only 3.15 sunday afternoon and people there have just twisted the top of a stubby and are settling down to watch the race so please try not to spoil it for them as you didn't no the result before you watched it.

Point taken... but as you say,,,, they have just twisted the top of a stubby and are settling down to watch the race
So therefore should'nt be on here looking at anything that has to do with the race....:D if they spoil it for themselves well, how silly,, but yes it's abit hard to realise there's a 2 hour diff....:D
and my finishline points also did'nt increase... well what it was looking like doing... bugger

Well done to Cameron McConville for his first win. Couldnt of happened to a nicer bloke. Rick was pretty annoyed but as you can clearly see on the TV reply Rick plain and simple made a mistake. Well done Cameron. Also great drive by Bright. Best thing he ever did for his career was leave HRT.

I think that's a bit harsh.
back to topic.......Murph's drive was nothing short of amazing, but knowing how competative the guy is, I bet he's not happy about it.
I'm looking foward to reading his race review to see what his comments are about the race.
cheers. :)

Just inexperience on Rick's part but I don't think he should be too upset. I think the time has come though for someone to take him in hand and teach him about a little thing called diplomacy. The podium was not the place for comments like that and it's not the first time he's done it either. If you have a problem with something there is a process to be followed. Standing up on the podium and bleating about it is not going to help.
I am a HUGE Rick Kelly fan but think it's time he learnt to reign in his emotions just a little.

Wayno thats why i dont like Rick Kelly his attitude. Also he reminds me of Skaife. He should go to the school of Craig Lowndes and Peter Brock and take attitude lessons :)

Do you remember Lowndes' early career???
Sure, he wasn't getting up complaining on the podium, but he did a few things that upset the race stewards such as victory donuts and the like...
Haven't seen him do any in a ford...
And ya can't blame Rick for cracking the sh!ts...he just needs to realise who is to blame, and then make sure he doesn't do it again....he could have been trying to get a seat in the Renault F1 team...;)

Personally I would assume Rick would have had the sense to continue racing like he was under a full green instead of backing off cos of the sectional yellow flag...
he should have shut the door on McConville regardless of his thoughts that Cam wouldnt have passed him because of the yellow flag...
it seems that in all his complaining that Cam didnt see the yellow flag.. young rick failed to see the green flag..

I dont think that stuff can be taught, Thats why they should both be so valued by thier respective manufacturers. Except I think the way Ford lured Lowndes in and then APPEAR (to me) to have dropped him like a hot coal as soon as Ambrose showed a bit of form is a bit rude.
Theres still a bit between Holden and Ford in this respect, its one thing using his image for advertising, but its easy to forget just what a talent he is. He should be in Bingalls car.
Its ironic that Holden can find a more competitive drive for thier public face at the mountain than Ford can find for one of thier current 'stars'.
