A question of value

Hi, sorry if this is a bit off topic or not regarding a Biante model, but I am new to this collecting (so far I own 4 Shelby Cobra's) and wasn’t sure where I could ask this question.
I bought a 1965 Shelby Cobra made by American Muscle, when I get it home to admire it I notice the number plate reads "GOBRA" an obvious spelling error. My question is would this make the model worth more or less $ ? Or is this just a sign of crappy attention to detail and a crappy manufacturer?
There is another in the store, was wondering if I should grab it?
I am looking forward to Biante making a Shelby.

If you know the answer to that question i'll be having next weeks lotto numbers off you as well.......:D

I reckon it would make the model less valuable if all the models have the mistake rather than just a few. If it is all then it shows a total lack of care from the manufacturer and no quality control to speak of.

maybe they arent the best of models...
dont know if biante will ever make a cobra...unlikely, as australian historic is the flavour. if you want a decent example US manufacturer EXOTO make/have made numerous replicars..oops i mean replicas.

i see there are 2 1:18 kyosho models planned.
no doubt they will be an improvement on the american muscle range, but falling far short of the exotos i am sure

I originally asked this question to American muscle via thier web site and was imediatly unimpressed with thier web site I wasnt sure if I would get a responce, 3 weeks later I did, here it is

"We we not aware of it. You may return the item to the original place of purchase for an exchange or refund. Thank you."

sounds like they dont take that much care with the things they make.

Thanks terrine for the exoto link, they are amazing looking models shame they are in US$ make them a bit pricey.
