I grabbed 2 when I got home tonight, "will be my 2nd & 3rd UT models" but seen alot sold out already,"missed out on the brad Jones Audi" was wondering who got what, if any?

I added the 1997 and 1998 Jones Audi to my shopping cart + the Morris/ Radisich and the German winner, then entered my details..... and hesitated before submitting.......
couldn't do it. The old "get what you NEED, not what you WANT" came to mind lol. Saving up you see...
Oh well ;)

oh well, I've given in and placed an order  But only two this time - 1997 Jones and Pirro's German winner. I remember meticulously cutting out pictures of these cars from magazines when I was younger, backing them with cardboard and placing them with my Bburagos. Kinda like an installation lol.
sentimental reasons...

I haven't bought any UT before, so I'm assuming the quality is ok. The pics look great, so I hope the models are too....
Any ideas why they are cheaper than other 1:18's even when they're not on special??
I've ordered and await the arrival of a the #25. "THYSSENGAS / HASSERODER". 1999 NURBURGRING 24hr Audi A4 and #25. PORSCHE AG. 2nd / Class Winner : 1996 LeMANS 24hr.
Hey...they're both number 25...didn't do that on purpose...
I like the look of the porsche and the audi has a bright paint job. I was hoping to add some colour and international flavour to my collection...
Thought about the BJ Audi...but I'm not overly keen on the supertourers...

UT Models used to be the manufacturer for Paul's Model Art, Minichamps up until 1997. After a falling out between the two companies, UT no longer made for PMA or themselves. We distributed this brand for as long as they were made, but now they are no longer available.
We are clearing these out to make extra space in the warehouse.

The two Jones cars arrived today, verry happy indeed with the quality of both cars, not complaining but was surprised the boot and rear doors do not open.
But as i said not complaining they are an absolute bargin at that price, look great in the cabinet

Our Track Red XY GTHO was the first 1:18 model in the world to have all four doors that opened. Prior to this mostly only 2 door cars were modelled with opening doors or only the front doors opened on the four door models. UT made many DTM and ITC cars for Minichamps and none of these models came with opening doors or boot and they retailed for over $100.00 back in the mid 1990's.
Demonstrates how far models have come in the past 10 years!
