We have a thread for the most extreme ebay sells so I guess starting a cheapest ebay sells was the next logical step.
And to start the ball rolling I've found this one.
Possibly the cheapest single car sold on ebay yet.
You paid how much?! (http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=6919536016&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT)

This guy had a load of Biante 1:18th V8 Supercars for sale starting at $50-00. I tried to get a Bright Team Brock car but it ended up selling for $82-50. That Faulkner car was a bargain. Great looking model.

If you're looking for the 1:18 Skaife/Kelly 2003 Sandown winner, try Gamesworld @ Knox City in Melbourne - they had one yesterday for $130...

That is a good price for Knox. Can't say I've ever seen a cheap car in there. Doncaster and Northland on the other hand, have cheap Sierra's at the moment, I've been told.
Has Gamesworld ever sold on ebay?

Just picked up the Sting Red HSV GTS 300 for the equivalent of AU$50. As I already have one, I was thinking of doing a conversion. Any ideas?

i brought an Auto Art 1991 Bathurst winner Skyline GTR (Skaife / Richards #1) for $150 odd including P+H!!
Not bad considering they seem to RRP for around the $170 mark and this one also had the COA autographed by both drivers ... which is one less for me to try to get autographed!

Not much of a demand for a 2000 Tander (http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=6925648301&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT)

So that would make it $51.00 plus $15.00 registered post. Still pretty cheap.

He is a Ford dealer down in Melbourne, ive bought a couple of exoto cars from him in the past cheap.
What has happened to Biante's policy on retailer advertising on e-bay and such.

Actually, you are wrong. But I'm not going to post the correct details of the seller here, because I don't want to see the retailers banned from ebay. I'd like to see anyone buy this car this cheap out of a shop.
And if we are going to stop retailers selling on ebay, then we would have to stop trackside selling too, I'd guess.
Selling on ebay is not illegal, so I can't see the problem. And as I can get cars cheaper from ebay, I'm all for it.
Everyone that wants to pay more for your cars, put your hand up. Scans forum. No hands up. Ok, cheap cars for everyone. :D
So why are these cars very cheap? I was going to get one off the Biante for 120 dollars!!

It's a matter of supply and demand.
If supply exceeds demand, then the price will be low. this car shows this.
If supply does not meet demand, then the price will be high. The 2004 Historics XY is an example of this at the moment.
I'd suggest doing a bit of research before buying any car. You could save yourself heaps.
If it's of any interest to you, I've never bought a car directly off Biante, and I don't see that happening for a while yet, if at all. If Biante have sold out, you cannot buy a car from them, and if they have still got stock, then the car generally isn't selling very well, and can be bought cheaper elsewhere. With current hindsight, the 2004 XY would have been the go to order directly off Biante, but ask me in a few years time, it might be a different story.
The only advantage that I can see ordering a car off Biante, is that you WILL get a car, but not necessarily at the best price.
Others may disagree with what I say, and that is their perogative. Each to their own. But I am fairly happy with the way I purchase. That's all that matters to me. :D

What is the story with these heron white HSVs?
Oversupply? People just don't like white cars?
I'm interested in adding a Commodore/Falcon/Monaro to my collection but not really willing to pay $120 so I'm on the hunt for something like this.
Don't really care what kind as the VT looks like same as the VX to me pretty much.

The HSV Clubsport VT2 R8 in Herron White (http://www.biante.com.au/merchandise.cfm?mode=vie w&MerchandiseID=10602) was released in 1:18 in September 2002 with 5000 @ $124.00 item A73302.
I'm not sure of the spelling of the colour. The website has one 'r' and the CD ROM has two 'r's. Can someone tell me the correct number of 'r's.
The website still shows this car as in stock, so Biante has plenty of them. For whatever reason, they just didn't sell as Biante had hoped they would.
So for those that have waited, pick 'em up cheap at your local ebay.
