I have a Allan Moffat racing RX7 Mazda book all about the Devolopment etc and it also features chapters of Moffats campains in a Le mans Mazda and Daytona 24 hour which he WON like the Sebring 12 hour.
I'd love to see Biante produce the Mazda he raced in the 1982 Daytona 24 hour.
Also in regards to the Moffat Sebring 12 hour winner I've heard it actually doesn't have his name on it so will Biante be putting Moffat names and Aussie flag stickers on them to make them look like part of the Moffat collection?

Also didn't Moffat/Brock/Harvey win the Spa 24 hour in 1986 after 20 something cars got disqualifyed or was
it that the Holdens won the team prize?
From what I've heard Moffat was clearly better than Brock at the overseas driving and achieved more like wins at Daytona 24hr and Sebring 12hr.

Win it in Finland Tommi

I would love a 1:18 version of Moffat's Group C Mazda RX-7 campaigned between 1982 and 1984. In this car Moffat won the 1983 Australian Touring Car Championship, Sandown, Australian Endurance Championship and finished 2nd at Bathurst in 1982 and 3rd in 1984.

As well as this the car was used at Daytona as stated and is definitely as much a part of Moffat's racing history as anything else as far as successfulness goes.

Yes there is nothing quite like a 1.1 litre V8 eater :)

Well admin, at least you know you could sell two Moffat RX-7's if you make them. I might even buy two myself!

On a serious note though, is there the remotest possibility that we might get one one day?

And the RX7 could mow a Football Field in 6.3 Seconds.
No seriously Im not a huge RX7 fan but would buy this model as it is part of Allan's Australian Motor History and he did have great success with this car.

Dave from Kiwiland!!

Japanese manufacturer Ebbro did some great looking Mazda RX7's in 1:43 from the 1979 Daytona. Check them out at the Ebbro site (just follow the link to the Mzda gallery) :-

Perhaps with a set of decals from Patto's Place you could convert one of the Ebbro cars to Moffat spec.
