Guys and Girls, There seems to be a lot of good Aussie knowledge on this board so I'm throwing out an OT question.

From experience, what is the best method to use when trying to sell a car?, something a little diffirent. I once sold a cool modified mini on ebay without trouble so have used this method again but after 5 relists have had nothing but time wasters. I recently tried t sell another car through the trading post and did not get one call. I am thinking of using my105.com

What have you used that worked?

What has worked?
Persevierence, and a realistic price, not cheap, but realistic.

I think if I were any more realistic people would think there was something wrong with it LOL. Must need more Perserverance.

I just sold a car. Tried all the papers including the Trading Post. All of the papers (mainly the Trading Post) charged me ridiculous prices to display an ad for one or two weeks - and the only people who responded to the Trading Post ads were dealers offering almost insulting proces.

I also advertised my car on carsales.com.au THIS WAS EXCELLENT!!! 10 bucks gets you 5 photos, a massive vehicle description, a view counter, and you can display the ad for AS LONG AS YOU LIKE!!!

This is where I had all enquiries come from, and ultimately sold the car through carsales.com.au for the price I wanted.

Give it a go!
