Damien, fantastic pics. What a car. Brutal and fast, but with a futuristic air about them.
Thanks for sharing!

No Worries Andrew. I got no idea on the location of the factory or the type of car.
Maybe some of the forum members might be able to help out.

Gosh, that's a very nice factory. The old production line has changed a quite bit since the days of Henry and his Model T.

Not a mark on the tiles!!
Must be somewhere in stuttgard in the Ruhrgebied for sure!
I would be suppriesed if this was the SanYuong factory!
Maybe this is in the new McLaren factory, as the decor is outta the world, just unbelievable.

I think it's the 'Paragon' facility. McLaren have combined all of their different arms (F1, road car, electronics etc) into one huge facility. I believe it was opened not long ago by the Queen with almost every surviving McLaren driver past and present, in attendance.

The July edition of 'CAR' magazine has a good back to back comparision of the McLaren SLR, Porsche Carrera and the Ferrari Enzo.

CAR's editors weren't that impressed with the McLaren and said it "didn't have the composed ride, handling, steering and braking needed to make it a winner". Ouch !

And they rated the Enzo the easiest to live with which was surprising (apparently the clutch on the Porsche is a bit like a switch, on or off).

McLaren are apparently already developing new suspension settings to improve the ride and handling.

What an amazing factory. That place is cleaner than our office and they're building cars:D

How come both companies are making this car? Added to my watchlist anyway :)

Will this be made in 1/18?

It certainly is an amazing facility. The last edition of 'Racing Line' (the official McLaren team magazine) had a big article on the new facility and it is just simply stunning.

Goldie.....CMC make the car in 1:18 with real leather interior. Prices are what you would expect from arguably one of the world's premier model car companies. I'm sure it comes in 1:12 also......even more money.

Great pics guys................hey Toecutter where is the pic of you doing the burnout in it....HEHEHEHEHEHE.

How do you rate the car please?

Cheers,

Timbo.
