Thats what happens when we have gilly lids to distract us or they make so much noise that we put our heads in the sand:D

It's more the 12 - 13 hour working day & a lack of advertising, but hey, I heard it here! Thanks, Odin.:)

The Holdens are the discounted ones (modern) there ain't no cheap FORD, as they demand serious $$ cause they are First On Race Day.
What is the best play of words on HOLDEN ,by the way?
%%** Having Obviously Legitimate Dilemma's Every Night.**^^
There must be a better one arround that puts it in amore favourable light.

Well I have to say I was dissapointed. I found one bargain I thought too good to pass up, 1:18 VX Sirromet CC for 65$. Also bought a 1:18 trailer for 20$, an accessories kit for 25$ and the issue of diecastdownunder I was missing.

Other prices were a joke. 190$ for a green gts coupe, or 250$ for a 2003 djr car, 200 to 245 for an 03 historic car, Most of the cars I could find a lot cheaper on ebay. Most of the stuff for sale was rrp or above, only a few below rrp.

I agree odin,
I got a 1:18 Larkham 2002 for $65, most likely from the same guy.
Other wise it wasnt that great, but it was good to see some different dealers from around the place with different models.

Depends what you're looking for. We were only there from the 1/43 point of view & there was plenty of variety & lots of bargains. There was even an early CC JB DJR #1 EF Falcon for $15-00, but that model is such an atrocious job that I couldn't even pay that much for it.:D Otherwise, I could've spent several hundred $ there. Good to see more train (old & new) stands there, too.

My son had a ball. He got as he savys "several bargains" He went for quantity & got himself several Hotwheels, a lot of lego signs, 1 mb Falcon & a truck.

So from his point of view it was well worth going.

As for me, I renewed several acquaintances.:)

Yeah, all 3 of mine loved it. Hey, to them they're toys, except maybe 6yo Jamie as he reckons that his puchase (a Maisto Speedway Sprint-Car for $5-00) is the start of his "real" collection. Wait until Xmas when he unwraps his 1/18 Skaife-Car! Can't wait to see his face.:D

Couldn't believe that my old Matchbox "Mini Ha-Ha" was there for $16-00!
