I am eagerly awaiting the 1:64 range of VZ Commodore/One Tonner/Ute/Crewman/Adventra and WL Statesman models coming out. Do you have an idea when?

I'd say soon, alot of the dealerships are having runout sales and so forth. Plus the ads are all over the t.v at the moment.

To answer your question, at present there is no news about these cars, we do not even know if any of them are being made to start with.

If/when the VZ is produced in 1:64, I would suggest that they would be at least 12months+ away from arriving, in indeed they are.

Sorry I could not be more specific.

cheers:)

I wonder if any of the Holden teams will sport the new VZ look??? WOuld not mind seeing a V8 Supercar with those side gills that are on the SS. The BAs are from the XR8 so maybe the Holdens will use the body from the SS's?

It might be possibly unnecessary expense to use SS guards though considering how many they have to replace during a season. I wonder when we will see the new shape used in the Supercars though. 2005 or 2006:confused:

Should see minor cosmetic changes to the front with new lights/grille and bonnet plus new rear lights but that's about it. No aero changes until 2006 and the bigger VE so no side vents - takes away a sponsor area any way.

what about the different front end? or is it just minor cosmetic?

I wouldnt mind seeing the VZ as a supercar... the front looks pretty good.

"what about the different front end? or is it just minor cosmetic?"

No. Front bar(spoiler) and undertray to stay the same.
Holden haven't applied for any aero changes to keep
the status-quo in Project Blueprint and because there
is no change to the look of the Falcon BA 2 there will be
only minmal change.

As I said you'll have to wait until 2006 for any major changes.

I more meant the bonnet and upper front section... considering its different to the VY.

Refer to my previous post (re-written below) regarding your question:
"I more meant the bonnet and upper front section... considering its

"Should see minor cosmetic changes to the front with new lights/grille
and bonnet...."
