"Biante will be releasing a range of 1:2 scale Helmets from some of Australias most popular drivers. Starting off the new range will be helmets from Skaife, Murphy, Lowndes and Peter Brock."
Does anyone know when we might see these helmets ?
Also - one for Admin, are you going to be producing any more 1:18 figurines or 1:6 scale helmets in the future ?
Thanks

I think the figurines were excellent. The finish off the model nicely. It would be interesting to hear if Biante deemed them a sales success as we haven't seen anymore come onto the market. If I remember correctly, there was a Lowdnes one due out after the first Lowdnes Falcon. Is this in the piepline?
I think some Johnson, Brock or Moffat figurines would be good to stand next to the old cars.
I'd would like some Lowndes and Crompton figurines to go with the Lowndes/Crompton Bathurst 2001 1/18.
Who'd like to see a Team Monaro Targa 2002 1/43 2 set set of the #05 Brock/Brock and #50 Richards/Cole cars?(bit like the Pardise garage 2 set of Mobil trial commodores).

I hope to see more figurines released from Biante too. They go with the models really well.
Please release some more.

I have dragged up this old thread to see if anyone knows where we are at with the 1:2 scale helmets.
Once again I am being impatient, but just have not heard anything on this subject for some time.
Are they still going ahead ?

Looking forward to seeing more figurines and helmets one day!
Out of interest does anyone know where I can pick up a Skaife figurine from? I used to work at our local Holden dealer and have been kicking myself since I brought the Lowndes one and not the Skaife one.

try buy/sell/swap..I recently put a add in for one and had five replies..Picked one up for a display I'm doing.
When the Lowndes and Skaife 2000 driver figures and helmets came out,I got them as quick as I could and both my hellmets and figures are signed.
The Lowndes/Skaife driver figures look great along side the 2000 1/18 Bathurst car with wet weather tyres.
How about instead of poseable figures, the model comes out with the figure in the drivers seat, with the mic cable, drink bottle pipe and certain drivers that use the fresh air tube on the front of their helmets. These type of figures would be far greater than a poseable one that you stand beside the car.
Food for Thought

I don't think you'd be able to put them in the car, they'd have to be put into the car at the time of production. I have the PRODRIVE Subaru Impreza WRC in 1:18 with the drivers inside, and it looks really good.

Grubby,
I hadn't forgotten, just somebody moved the sheet and I couldn't find it.
1:2 Skaife helmet is listed at $139.00. Now I have the sheet in front of me, the model on the next line was July August (Skaife and team Brock 1:18 cars) NOT the helmet. The helmet available date is TBA...

I wonder who the other driver are who's helmets are going to be made ???
A DJ one would be great, & a JB would be good too.
One that I've always liked for its' simplisity is the old white Borck helmet with the blue & white mobil horse on it.
cheers. :)

Brad
From memory Admin did say that Brock was on the list of helmets that they would be producing.

Hi all,
Is anything happening with these items? I wouldn't mind a Moffat figurine to place with his Bathurst GTHO's.
Cheers
