While we are talking about our wish lists.
I would like to see a 1:18 WH HSV Grange.
I have not been able to find a model statesman anywhere. So why not start with the best of them.

How about Tom Walkinshaw's VL SS, the first time he took one to Bathurst (direct from my home village!), any 1979 Bathurst XC hardtop, Allan Grice's Craven Mild A9X, etc etc? Wouldn't mind seeing a 1:18 black Sierra RS500 road car, but I guess that means more to a Pom than an Aussie. It's just no manufacturer seems to have made one, a mere 16 years later!
Toms VL could easily be reproduced using the die from the 1990 Grice/Percy car but I think Toms car had different wheels. This would look good and may help the sales of the 1990 car by having the pair.
I would also think that now the DJR Sierra has been produced, they would make a roadgoing version of the RS500 as well. This would look nice in the black and also the moonstone blue (I think thats what it was called) Even a Holden freak like me can appreciate what a great car the RS500 was. It is one Ford that I could happily own in 1:1 form.
Three great cars would be:
Allan Moffat's Group C RX-7
Big Rev Kev's Channel 9 (6) Camaro
George Fury's Group C Bluebird
All three had a huge impact on the sport (and the concrete barriers in Bartletts case :) ) in one way or another

Yes I agree with Sergey, can't wait for the Bathurst winning XA's of Goss ('74) and Moffat ('73).
Also when is the Tango/Black XB & Bathurst Cobra going to released? They have been on "production planned" forever.

I'd love to see 1:18 Glenn Seton's championship cars (EBII & EL)
this may never happen due to the classic link but just imagine the quality of the car if biante make it.
also,
how about an XE Fairmont Ghia ESP 351, 4spd, in red over black with the 15' snowflake gold wheels (my all time dream car!!!!!!!!)
perhaps,
the John Bowe championship winning EF,
and even,
Dick Johnson's Sierra he took to England and cleaned up at Silverstone until the water pump broke car #41
what about,
Possum Bourne's fabulous 5 times Australian Championship winning WRX's
and
Jim Richards Targa Tasmiania 911's
We could go on forever with our wish lists but can anyone answer when some of the "production planned" will be released namely the 2002 1:43rd & 1:18th V8 Supercars and Brocks Bathurst cars and the Brock/Mezera VR. These cars are on my wish list now as they seem a bit closer to reality.
Is the Brock Bathurst car likely to be released before or after the actual Bathurst race??

V8SS is right. We could go on and on about what cars we would like to see.
So here is mine!
Apart from my repeated pleas for an R32 GT-R road car in black, silver or burgundy (the colours that came to Australia), modelled by Biante/Auto Art (not Kyosho), I would like:
Sierra RS500 road car (yes, black would be faaaaaaantastic)
Moffat's RX-7
HSV GTS-R (dare I say it)
Bartlett's Camaro
Possum Bourne's Championship winning Impreza WRX/WRC I don't mind, four door Group A car or WRCar.
Please, please, please Admin. We don't always have to have Touring Cars now do we? An Australian rally car with driver and co-driver signed certificate would be fantastic. Maybe even Neil Bates' Corolla WRC? After all, Auto Art already have the 1:18 moulds for both the Impreza and Corolla WRCars.

well the politics stoped these cars being released as real
ones , in the 1972 supercar scare ,why not release them as
a 1/18 model ?
- LJ GTR XU-2 V8
-XA GTHO PHASE 4
-RT V8 CHARGER
maybe also done in the same colours as the article in issue 3
of aust muscle car ???

As far as I can tell those cars were for illustration purposes only - ie standard XU-1, XA GT and Charger. But what the hell, they're good colours for the models!

Hi everyone, while we are on the topic of model wishlists, I propose anything (road or track) dealing with HDT or HSV. Obviously the track deals more with HDT cars, but I'll settle for anything, beggars can't be choosers afterall.
I'd like to see Matich's SR3 and SR4 as well as Jane's Camaro and Geoghegan's Mustang.
Please make it happen, Biante.:)
