Does anyone have the Perkins/Ingall winning Commodores from 1995 and 1997? I noticed on the C/Carlectables site that a 1.43 model of the '97 car was made but no mention of the '95. I have yet to see either car in any shop or in any auction (biante or ebay). How many of them were produced and what are they worth?
If anyone has one or both, can u post a picture of them?
Thanks people :-)

Classic carlectables only commenced manufacture in 96 (3xHRT and 3xDJR) so no 95 car. And they have stated categorically that they are not going to make any V8 supercar other than present ones...

That's a pity. How does anyone manage to get a complete Bathurst winners collection then?
Just slightly side -tracking for a moment,I managed to score the 1966 winning mini cooper form the 'pastandpresent models website which has since sold out so I'm fairly wrapped about that. It's not the greatest model around by any means but it does help with my collection.
I know Dinkum make some of the other rarer winners though I've been told the quality isnt as good.

I'm sure that eventually all 1:43 Bathurst winners will be made by somebody in a quality we expect...in the mean time we have to puty up with dinkums etc
There is a thread on here somewhere that lists all the Bathurst winners that have been made in 1:43 by several different manufacturers...from memory you can get all winners except 2...
Cheers

As Leigh said, the only option at the moment would be Dinkum for the '95. I had a '97 and sold it on eBay (it came with a pack of CC's I purchased off eBay and didn't want some of them). There were 3 Castrol cars made by CC in '97 1008, 1011 and the Bathurst winner 1011-1. The 1011-1 comes up occasionally on eBay, search for it under Classic Carlectables. Ball park would be $90 - $100.

I don't think it fair to keep bagging Dinkum. :(
Dinkum was making Diecast model for the market before Trax, Biante & CC. Dinkum was making for a limited market therefore the costs were appropriate for the toolings costs
I have a few in my collection & while there not the quality that we've come expect in recent years they are still good quality:)

I think my post was taken the wrong way...
I didn't intend to bag any of the older model makers (i.e. Dinkums etc). They were good in there day. But you can't replace the fact that what we have now is better, and my older models WILL be replaced by newer ones as they are released.
Possibly in the future my Biante's and CC's will also be replaced...who knows???
Cheers
