I guess that eventually all the classic old Touring Cars will have been modelled - there's only a finite number of them - and current V8 Supercars etc will keep things ticking over, but I wonder if Biante have thought about producing models of "ordinary" Aussie vehicles? My memories of Oz have been travelling around in old Falcon panelvans, and there must be a demand for quality models of utes and vans, plus production cars other than the Monaro. I've seen requests for police pursuit cars, and I know other manufacturers have modelled older utes, so demand must be there. And Biante's levels of accuracy are streets ahead of others that I've seen, so I'm sure it would be a goer. Or am I barking up the wrong tree here?

I think a XE ESP would be a worthwhile model to be made, how about it admin?:rolleyes:

I agree that more road cars, particularly aussie road cars, need to be made.
In fact I'm sick of waiting to see a decent XR Falcon model come along. I'll say it again I would love to see the car I drive, AUII XR6 VCT in Galaxy Blue.
Classic Carlectables will be producing old touring cars from the 60's and 70's(oldest Bathurst winner from Biante is the 1970 Moffat XW) and will start off with a Ian'pete'Geoghan,Bob Jane and Norm Beechy Mustangs and maybe next a Bob Jane Chev.
I also would like to see a XE Dick Johnson edition SVO in 1/18.

Got My Vote, Nick
If I get your drift(er), you're talking about some of the old '70's cars?
If Biante can make XY's and LJ's etc, why not some of these great Aussie road-going muscle cars:
HQ/HJ/HX Monaro (2dr or 4dr GTS);
XA/XB 4dr GT's;
E38's, Pacers etc (and don't forget the orange Drifter p/van:D )
Or something more obscure: XY 4X4 ute!!
Waddaya think????
Cheers, ET351

As I'm an old fogey I guess 70s cars would be good, but really any iconic Aussie vehicles, like the ute and panelvan (I loved my XC and XE cruisemobiles), maybe the "surfie" variants, even non-motorsport performance cars up to the present day. Other manufacturers produce models of current and recent road cars, and there must be people who'd go for Aussie models of their daily driver/first car/car they always wanted etc.
