I Seem to be having trouble finding good quality, available, 1:18 models of Rally cars WITH Night Driving Lights.

I have only come across 1 WRX with them on, yet to me this extra detail is fantastic. Especially when the whole car is set up for night driving........

Do other models in rally spec come with "add-on" lights that you can take on or off?:p

Auto Art has a Focus, too.If you go to www.scale18.com/diecast.html there is a 'search the huge list' function that allows you to find pix of the rally cars. Enter WRC. But he doesn't have a pic of the Cossie. It is the Ford team car (1997?) driven by Delecour/Grataloup.

If you're into the old Group B rally cars of the '80s, AutoArt will be making them, presumably with lights as an option - more night rallies back then!

Thanks guys.....I'll keep my eyes peeled.

It would be great to see older rally cars with night lights on.:D

I agree, spot lights on rally cars look really cool. We need more of them.

As mentioned above, Autoart have two 1:18 cars with lights:

80012 McRae Ford Focus, Monte Carlo 2000
89994 Burns Subaru Impreza, Monte Carlo 1999

Both are good models.

UT had an earlier model of the 1994 Escort Cosworth of Francois Delecour, again from the Monte Carlo Rally. This model has very poor interior detail by todays standards, but the exterior and spot lights look great (from a distance anyway!).

On the subject of rally cars, my personal wish list would be more 1:18 Rally New Zealand winners, and some of Possum Bournes cars (as suggested in other threads). A few more Rally Oz winners would also be good. Perhaps Biante could consider this as the real Rally Oz must just about run in their backyard ;)

What a great model this is!
The other one with lights ,where you can take the cover off is a Lancia Statos Dubonnet ? champagne (blue) by Solido

You are correct, but it's the 1977 Rally Monte Carlo #1 Alitalia Lancia Stratos driven by Munari/Maiga. Fantastic detail on the Stratos (and 037).
My favorite rally cars are the Safari ones with the pushbars(?) and snorkels.
