I was wondering if anyone can help me with some information on this model. I collect two versions of the F1 championship winning car from each year and need to get a second version of Fittipaldi's Lotus from 1972.
I have seen the Quartzo example of the 72 British GP winner on ebay and was just wondering how the quality of the model stands up. It seems to have the correct tobacco decals, ets but I was wondering about the general fit and finish of the model.
I already have the Austrian GP winner made by Exoto and am more than happy with the quality and detail of this car. I was just wondering how the Quartzo offering stacks up. I know the Exoto is a lot more expensive, but price isn't the issue. Exoto are releasing the 72 Italian GP winner in the future so I don't know if I should just wait for that one.
Any info would be appreciated.

Hi Wayno.....i have the Quartzo Clark Lotus next to the my other Exoto's and it looks ok....if you take a closer look i must say that the quartzo doesn't have too much detail to offer..the engine looks a bit cheesy...it's ok for the price but i prefer to pay more money and have a model that blows me away when i look at it rather than a model that looks just all right ......i'd wait for the exoto one..
cheers Marty

Thanks for the reply. I must admit that I was leaning that way. I've got a fair few Exoto F1 cars now and they are awesome. The 72 Austrian GP car with Fittipaldi climbing out of the cockpit is amongst my favourite models.
