Hi Bill,good to have u aboard :)
The 1:64's are bloody good value and are incredibly detailed for such a small scale.I love them and collect all the V8Supercars in this scale.

Hi bill - another Pom here! I'm always curious how Poms find out about Aussie cars and models?

They followed the French here, who actually discovered it first but the Poms beat them back to Europe to tell everybody.:D

Perhaps the French just returned quietly as the food and fashions at the time were not up to the mark!

Er, FF, I think the aborigines got here before the Chinese! But eventually the Poms found Australia, and ever since they have settled, 20 to a room, in Bondi......

Hi Bill,
welcome to the forum.
I always wanted to know what the diecast collecting is like overseas? How do the australian models stack up against models easily available overseas? And what do you collect?

cheers Inter

Welcome Bill,

The 1:64's are little superb, great detail for a little price.

Thanks Guys,

I collect mainly 1/64 scale but have quite a few 1/43 by Corgi&Solido and 1 or 2 other makes. I have just started collecting Johnny Lightning and got 20 so far, i have a few Matchbox Premiere and just scored a Wave G set which i intend to use both for trade purposes. I discovered Biante by seeing members of other boards showing pics. As my theme is Race/Rally could not be better than a selection of Biante to have. I also like the Real X range in 1/72 and have quite a few plus Hongwell/Schuco in 1/72.

As regards the Euro scene:- Siku-Maisto-Norev-Majorette-Mini Champs are always in big demand.

The new Siku Porsche Carerra GT is simply stunning and i have sent over 20 out to fellow collectors as they have just hit the shops here.

That should answer most of the questions.

Bill:)
