Admin,

Just read an article in the V8 Bathurst Magazine (a special edition of the Motor Racing Australia Magazine) about the 74 XA Falcon that Goss/Bartlett drove to victory in our great race.

It states that he used Moffat's Goodyears to finish the race in the wet. So the question - will the model that I believe is due out towards the end of the year or early next year be fitted with the Goodyears or the original tyres Bridgestones?

Thanks.

Just a followup on Goldies message, not only were different brand tyres used on the Goss XA, the mag wheels were also different to those used at the start of the race.

I reckon you model the car on how it started the race; after all, the 1992 GTR would've proved to be a crumpled mess resembling a car if it was modelled exactly as how it finished the race !!

Also, I note Biante/Autoart don't always feature branding on tyre sidewalls ... the road A9X models are an example where the model tyre tread resembles the Goodyear tyres of the time, but no sidewall name logos feature.
