I just got the word that Gamesworld at Carousel (Cannington) will be doing another of their well-regarded "clean sweeps" this weekend.
Older stock, mostly 1:18 and 1:43 scale from a variety of manufacturers, will be gathered from the various Perth franchise group stores to be dusted off at the Carousel store on Saturday 11th June 2005, from 8:30am onward.
Trestle tables will be set up in the mall just outside the store as per the last sale in February. I plan to get there early to hunt for bargains and expect to see most of the usual suspects lurking about ... Chups, et al ??

Good sales they are, as you said Graeme. The Whitfords edition enabled my mate and I to each pick up the '67 Bathurst winner for $100. Among other things of course....
Lately GW Garden City have had aheap of '03 and '04 V8Supercars for $100, as well as heaps of FPR road car stuff from both Biante and CC. I'd say there will be more of this tomorrow.

Apperently people were there from 7.30 am!!
I got there at 5 past 8 and that was to late it seems.
CC 1/18 roadcars mainly BA Fords $60 each and still plenty left.
CC 1/18 racecars all sorts $80 each and still some there??
CC 1/18 Superute's also still available at $80 each
Biante some AU race cars and some road BA GT's plus a few utes at the same $
Sadly there was nothing for me, but never mind that is life.

I thought I was reasonably early at 8:15am, only to find that unlike the last sale, the Centre staff had opened the shopping centre malls prematurely.
Nevertheless, I still found some bargains such as CC and Minichamps 1:43 scale at $15.00 each - eg Cortina GT500, Volvo P1800ES and my best small scale pick up, the James Bond Toyota 2000GT convertible.
Oh, and I think Bert would agree, the mall featured much attractive wildlife - a special mention being the three personable young ladies at the TeleChoice kiosk who found the diecast fever a little bewildering.
