Sorry for the dumb question... I am struggling to figure out what the 2002 VX Bathurst car is, that is listed as part of the Brock collection (and marked as released).. Anyone have a link or let me know which car this is???

it was a car he partnered at bathurst with Craig Baird. A predominately Black and gold car sponsored by Motorola. Looks a lot like 1 of the monaros (can't remember which).
It didn't achieve anything but is a beautiful looking model, one of my favourites.. Should be able to get them fairly cheap..

Sounds like the Bathurst car which was very similar color scheme wise to his Targa Tas car...

Whoops... Right you are.. Sorry 'bout that admin, at least I got the colours right :) The pic doesn't do it much justice IMHO, once you see one in the flesh you will see what I mean. It's my favourite V8 supercar for sure.

Lol! A lot of people hang it on that car, but a lot of effort went into it's preparation. It takes time to take the sign off the roof and pull the fare meter out!

Its pretty scary when you think that they were planning to run 2 cars for bathurst that year but James Brock pulled out when he realised they didn't have the funding to run 1 car..

I love these 2 cars! Don't see many of the Bathurst cars around on eBay in 1/18...

I bumped into Brocky the morning of the 2002 Bathurst about 6.30am as i was walking thru the old pit area. I asked him what his chances were of winning & he replied that the car looked a million dollars but ran like a dog & if he & Baird finished it would be like winning. I have this model in my Brock Bathurst Car Collection & I will admit it ran like a dog but it is still one of the best looking cars ever to grace the mountain.
