Alan Grice is a clown, don't want his cars in my collection! Win Percy, however, is a thoroughly nice bloke.

Already pre-ordered mine as well, the advance orders always seem to happen when I'm at work and the bookkeeper is on the sole internet equipped PC in the office at the club.

Different strokes for different folks, I'd say.
I spent a few days with Allan Grice & found him to be very personable, though not a person who takes fools lightly.

Don't know the bloke, but he didn't seem too egotistic when he was on his final laps at Bathurst 1990, praising the fans and his crew and seeming like a decent chap.........I probably won't be getting this VL, not because of the driver, but because I'm not excited by the livery. It's just the way I collect.......:D

Gricey is arguably one of the best drivers that this country has ever seen.
A bloke who achieved a lot with very little.
A stand up guy who called things as they where.
A pitty the same cant be said about many other ex and current drivers.

You're entitled to your opinion. Gricey can be a bit abrasive to be sure. That wont stop me having his models in my collection.

He swore at me profusely at Spa in 1986 (I was not to blame either!) and I guess it's always p****ed me off.

Nothing to do with the driver, but what exactly does this phrase mean?? I've heard it used to describe people I know and to me it means that if they don't agree with you, you are a fool and they "don't take fools lightly". This, to me, is another way of saying someone lacks tolerence of people with a differing point of view... I know a few people like that...;) ;)
Am I missing something here, or what?

My understanding of it was always that it indicated a low tolerance to idiocy and those who would inflict it upon us. Another good example of those who don't suffer fools glady would be Larry Perkins.

Umm... What did this car win again?
At least it has 17" wheels, unlike the 14s on the Bathurst winner.

Just because a car doesnt win doesnt make it non-collectable.
Many cars e.g Brock '76 and '77 Bathurst and various Moffat falcons from Bathurst didnt win (and not all even finished the race) but still command big bucks.

Maybe you could order "half" a car, or scrub out his name:p
