I need your help. I have recently purchased three 1:43 Minichamps Alfa Romeo DTM touring cars. All are from Germany, purchased via eBay. Unfortunately people tell lies and there's not a whole lot you can do about it when the MIB model ends up being a piece of rubbish.

Anyhow all three cars have a 'fault'. However, if it is possible, I can end up with two 'perfect' cars by removing three very small decals from the third car.

Can anyone help me ?

Some of decals on Minichamps models can be removed by soaking the model in water for 24 hours and then peeling of the decals you don't want. I've only done this once and had mixed success - small decals tend to come off OK but its difficult to get the large decals off in one piece.

If you need replacement decals you can get the Alfa 155 DTM Jagermeister, Martini & Bosche 1/43 decals from Patto's Place for about A$ 6. Search under 'Decals A - E' -

Have you also seen the 1/43 Alfa GTV6 models from Progetto K ? There are some very nice versions, but it would be great to see the 'Ignis Fridges / Montrose Wines' car driven by Colin Bond & Alan Jones in the '85 ATCC produced in 1/43.

The scale are 1:43 and are hand made. In Germany they each cost 175 Euro. Nice looking machines. Did you see the twin box with a 456 GT and a 412 P with nice clear Ferrari Packaging with a price of 749 Euro.
