I am extremely happy to be able to share with you a fax I received today from a Biante Retailer


" Just a note to offer my thanks to you for your assitance with a recent theft of stock. Through the website note a person spotted a suspect model and was put in contact with myself. This led to the police arresting a person who admitted that they had some of the models.

Although not all have been recovered the satisfaction is knowing that they will suffer the wrath of the law is most gratifying .

It is very pleasing to know that people do read the notes on the website and that honest people do still exist. Thank you once again for your help ."



I know this was a good start to my Monday morning! Thanks to all of you who have shown concern and interest in these matters.

Well done to the forum looker who spotted the hot stock, and took action. As the retailer said, it's great to see people taking a genuine concern.

I think as collectors, we as a group wouldn't like to see what happened (theft of models) to a fellow collector, retailer, buyer or seller.

Keep your eyes open out there, and see if we can't nail some more of these vultures!

These animals caught stealing from others need to have their fingers cut off from their shoulders, then they might have second thoughts next time. I would hate to lose any of my model collection
