Hey Fordboy,
If my expirence is anything to go by, I'm on the Mornington Peninsula & I usually get my orders within 3 days of ordering them. I've found the best time is to order before 5pm on a Monday, our time (remembering Perth is 2hr behind us - EST) & it usually seems to get send in that days post - quite quick all things considering.

I've made 5+ orders with them over the past 12 months & have found them to be good.
Even when one order got lost, it was no trouble and the item was located within 24 hours of me letting Biante know of the problem.
Rest asured that their site is secure (touch wood) & I do not know of any of my friends having any trouble with them.

However make sure you put all of your order in at the same time or else you'll get slugged mulitipul freight costs. I accendently sent an order without an item on it and was forced to pay the full freight as they could not add the extra item to my previous order.
hope this helps,
cheers.

"...Door-to-Door or Door-to-Post Office Box, with electronic barcode tracking of all consignments and signature-based proof of delivery"

thanks to this technology it is possible for me to track my consignment dispatched by biante on an overnight flight, perth to cairns arriving 11 am ....would appear it is great technology and express service.

unfortunately it takes another day for them to complete the delivery the last 5 klms from the airport to my place...

well almost express

Terrine...could you explain how you do this...in particular, how do you know the consignment/tracking number?

Thanks.

upon dispatch of the order by biante i recieve an email from
FMASN@aae.com.au

it would read like this.....

Sender: BIANTE ENTERPRISES
Ship Via: Australian air Express
Consignment: UW082518
Article: OJ057503
Weight : 3kg
Invoice List: 1559
For further information visit http://www.aae.com.au

you just click through on the link provided, click on track and trace, type in the consignment number (uw082518 in this case) and it will give exact arrival details at the airport nearest you....

the last 2 times they attempted a biante delivery i was not home and i had to collect from the airport, so seeing it arrived this morning i rang to confirm their delivery schedule....

thats when i found out how lazy they were at this end..
i offered to write a letter of encouragement to AAE management and their trade customer and the consignment miraculously appeared within the hour

hope that helps

Thanks Terrine.

I guess this dispatch e-mail must only be for Australian internal orders, as I don't get any similar info for an order to NZ.

And for info...my orders from Biante generally take about 5-7 days to turn up in NZ.
