The 1993 Bathurst winning VP Commodore of Larry Perkins/Gregg Hansford and the 1986 winning VK Commodore of Allan Grice/Graeme Bailey the one with CHICKADEE on the side. These would be great looking models to display.

First of all ; Welcome to this forum.
When you find your way arround this forum, you will find that a great many subjects, including Bathurst winners, have been covered before.
There is a search facility on the bottom and this is a very handy tool indeed.
Hopefully you have already some if not all the bathurst winners that have been issued as buying back will be a BIG task.

Looking forward to the 86 VK as well,won't be that far away I reckon.May be a while before we see any Perkins winners though thanks to that other mob not making them.:rolleyes:

Welcome to the forum mate. Biante will definately be doing the 86 Bathurst winner. Unfortunately due to problems dealing with LP it seems that no Perkins Bathurst winners will be made in the near future.
Pity. It's a big hole in many people's collections. :(

I find it confusing that Dinkum Classics can make the Perkins Bathurst winning cars in 1:24 & 1:43 scale but CC can't. Will Biante be able to make any cars that LP has driven ( HDT, HSV, Bob Jane T-Marts, etc) or can Dinkum and CC stop them because Larry has his name on these cars?

It depends on what period of time the contract the company has with the driver (eg, Biante can produce Dick Johnson's early cars like the Falcon's, Sierra's, etc but can't do the current DJR cars as they are licensed to CC)

Hi Michael, both of those cars are a must for me......I wonder if Admin could maybe come to some agreement with Larry regarding having the rights to produce pre 2000 cars.....as a long the same lines as the DJR deal

How about it admin..... any chance of a simular deal with Larry, I would hate to have a hole in my Bathurst Collection 93,95,97

If you're not to fussed about the scale there is a 1:24 scale Perkins/ Hansford 1993 Bathurst Winner on ebay right now. I'm not holding my breath waiting for Biante or CC to make some of these earlier models that everyone has been asking about for a long, long time.
