Hi Admin, i have noticed the Skaife/Richards 95 Bathurst VR commodore has been in Development Aprroved for some time now......and was wondering when this car will go into production...
As we have had a few VS Commodore's come and go since this has been listed......I am hanging out for it can you give us some hints
Cheers Mick

Yes it should be a good model. God I wish they'd change those ****ed up tobacco laws. Either make them apply to everything or not at all. F1 races here with tobacco advertising. Double standards.
Sorry, had to get that off my chest.

yes admin, could we get some insight into this model, as its been on my watchlist for some time, and is currently number 1 on that list.
Just with the tabacco laws, has it changed since the release of the 78 bathurst winner? Will this model be released with vinal decals like the 78 torana was? or has the law changed in a way that there will be no decals produced with the car?
I ask this because i remember seeing a thread where people were getting angry at these laws and my thought for the reason for this anger was that the tabacco laws have changed since the 78 bathurst winner and vinal decals are considered "advertising" and hence there will be no decals made for the 95 skaife/richards car. Thats just the way i interpreted that thread.
Is this correct or will there be some sort of decals supplied with the car?
regardless this will be an awsome addition to my collection.
cheers peter

This model is on the planned list. We get along very well with the current owner of the car (which is also the '94 VP Commodore ATCC winner). The current owner also owns several other race cars and we will be going to his house to photograph them all shorlty. As soon as there is more news I will post it here.

Wow, I didn't know that that car was also Skaife's '94 ATCC winner. So, what are the other cars?

Don't get to far ahead of yourself. I said we will be measuring the car as it is now (VR). I only put the other note about the ATCC win FYI. We haven't done any VN or VP's remember.

Thought I'd bump this thread back up again. Can anyone in Admin tell us if this model still has the green light or is it going to go the way of the 1/64 Nissan GTR's? (Ok,I'm probably milking that one now:D )
I can't afford a Winfield GTR but a Skaife VR will do me nicely.
Cheers,
Tony.

I have been buying books and other foto material to be able to make this version.
When it comes out, as red ones are the fast ones and will look great next to the godzillas.
