recovered stolen models?

Reading an other post member 15247 raised an intresting point about the recovery of stolen models.
I was just wondering if any one who has been so unluky to have their models stolen has ever recoverd them?
Also if they were never recovered did they maintain the hobby or were they too burned to buy again?

Some crims pinched my entire (well they left two behind) 1:18 collection of Bburago diecast Ferrari's. I had around 25 at that stage, and I was mortified, of course this was well before the Brock collection were released. I do worry though about my current collection being flogged.

im paranoid about it.
Alarms are the ansewer, monitored of coarse and my dog has big teeth and a nice smile.:D
