Just saw some pics of the new VY Clubsport (in MOTOR).... now I own a VT Clubsport and love Holdens but what the hell have they done to the new model?!?!?! I am not sure if Holden/HSV have employed new designers and if they haven't then they must have been on something when designing the VY cause I can't bring myself to like it "not yet anyway". I can't put my finger on it but there is something about the new model that doesn't look right
The new Ford (XR8) looks better each time I see it and if the GT is going to look like the artist impressions then Holden/HSV will have some serious competition... The XR8 interior looks pretty good too in black leather.

Couldn't agree more. I haven't seen a VY HSV yet but i had a look at a red VY SS at the local Holden dealer. The front is OK, maybe the back will grow on me, but have a look inside!! Whats going on there? Looks like ****e. The console looks like one out of a VB Commy, the gauges just aren't right and it looks like the heater knobs were forgotten and they've just clued on the first one's they could find. I've got a VT SS so i'm a bit biased but if i had $50k to give to someone i'd be on my way to the local Ford dealer. Maybe Holden need to re-design their design team. Yuk.

Have a look at www.hsv.com.au as they have all the new models on the site now. I think they actually look pretty good, better than the standard Holden range. I'm also a big fan of the dual exhausts on the Maloo, would look great in 1:18 (hint, hint).

i just checked out the HSV website and and what can i say except What Tha!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i think its the type of design that will grow on you kind of like the VT bubble shape. they are atleast moving back into the muscle car look like the walkinshaw. still it would be much better if they had a new bonnet with scoops or something.

Don't think anyone really thought that one out before using it for promoting the car.
Just seen them and some look OK depending on the photo. Will reserve judgment till I see them in the flesh.
It always takes a while to get used to a new model. I wasn't too fussed on the HSV versions of the VR, VT or VX when I first saw them!!!!!

The VY's look a lot better in the flesh than any pictures. I think that the HSV versions will be the same.
The VY look is still growing on me.

i think they look pretty good.Might even be tempted to trade in the vt for a new gts.
I am a little concerned, does any body else out there think our beloved commadores are starting to look like a magnas.I was down at my local dealer with the little lady when she pointed at a calais and asked me if it was a magna.I must admit I had to look twice to make sure.

Looked at the VY's again today and am growing fonder of the cars.
Still yet to see a HSV in the flesh. The pictures probaly just don't do them any justice.
Can't wait fot the maloo 1:18

There was a black VY Maloo in the Bob Jane T-Marts stand at Bathurst, and it is F$&*ing sensational!!!!! A lot better looking than the sedans, but if someone was to give me one, I wouldn't be saying no!!! I like the VX HSV range better.
