Well Guys. It is on again.

There will be over 100 cars competing in the 16K uphill battle.
Everything will be racing from Old Toranas & GT's to a Lamborghini Gallardo and the Subaru Australia Tarmac rally team. It should be a good weekend away.

I am not competing so have sold my entry to another competitor. Unfortunately I have work commitments in Asia that prevent me being there this year.

Guys, this is straight off the Mt Buller Sprint website.

"Australia’s most celebrated ‘Mountain Man’, Peter Brock, will be there for his many fans at the wheel of a potent Holden Monaro."

Guys, I went on the Saturday and had a ball.

Shame about the XY GTHO witting the water barrier right infront of us.
I nearly cried.

Will have pics up on my webshots album tomorrow sometime.

Cheers

Your pics look good James, looks like a really fun event ;)

Good to see Subaru are really getting behind this event instead of rallying:rolleyes: .......http://www.mtbullersprint.com/gallery/main. php?g2_view=core.ShowItem&g2_itemId=998 judging by the pic, who would have known that this was the official Subaru Australia entry, hey they don't even have anything about this event on their website, such a disappointment :(

cheers.

Yes, I heard about this.
A friend of mine from Melbourne went and was telling me all about it last night.
He also mentioned the original GT40 Ford that nearly got broken as well......

Scary, scary thoughts........
He said it was excellent, all out balls & all driving in a lot of awesome cars, so hopefully I can make it down for next year.

Ed :)

Didn't see Brock in the SS or the AMG hitting the fence.

Would have been good to see both.

I have loaded on a few more pics of Herridge getting close to the wall, the Black Lambo and the Daytona Coupe.

Looked for the telecast, didn't see it in the paper, missed it. :(

Guy in the car clubs girlfriend must have the best job out. Her boss wanted to go rallying (Classic Adelaide, Targa and the Buller Hill Climb) so she is paid to navigate for him. Porsche in the Classic and Lamborghini Galliardo in the other events. Why can't I find a boss like that? <sigh> ;)
