I have been waiting for over nearly 11 weeks for this
model to be available since it was first shown on the
Minichamps website.....could someone please explain
why Biante still say this model is in production.........

What is the item number for the model you are after. If it is still shown as i production then Minichamps have yet to let us know when it will be shipped from Germany.

Hi Richard,

while your at it can you give us an approximate arrival date for the 1/43 2005 Alonso Renault R25 (minichamps 400 050005) and
Webber Williams FW27 (minichamps 400 050007)

Find a model has them as "in production" but they are available overseas and have been for a while now.

I think you will find the FW11 is 400 860005 (Mansell) 400 860006 (Piquet)

thanks

Just thought I'd keep this going and see what happens. Does any body know if these models are available in Australia anywhere? (R25 Alonso & FW27 Webber)

(R25 Alonso & FW27 Webber) In all honesty & fairness, as the cow said in the Masters Moo Juice advert, "Sorry, can't help ya!!" I keep a pretty good eye out in general & have seen/heard nothing concrete other than what was in DDU about them 'being released'......

As I said before 'If it is still shown as in production then Minichamps have yet to let us know when it will be shipped from Germany'.

Biante are the exclusive distributor for Minichamps in Australia so it will be extremely unlikely that any are available for sale.

I will be meeting with Minichamps of Thursday and this is one question I will be asking them.

There's a pile of 1:43 Classic F1 models planned by Minichamps - Tyrrell/Benetton/March/Williams etc etc - I can't wait to see some more of these filter through the system to Oz.

Hopefully they'll have some news on the 84 Audi Quattro of Blomquist as well. This seems to be available everywhere but Australia.
I want to buy it off Biante, but may just get one on ebay.

Richard,

Minichamps have a French GP version of the Renault R25 due around June or earlier according to sources. There have got to be some models coming our way.
We have to rate better than this surely?

You can say the same about a number of different models from both Minichamps and AutoArt. We seem to be getting the thin edge of the wedge delivery-wise. I know a number of times I've found it's easier simply to take a ride on the wheel-o'-eBay and pick up a model there than wait for Biante to receive their stock. Maybe I'm just impatient...

I just did a search for the Minichamps 1/18 BMW 535i (E34) and its not
listed.....instead I got a R34 Skyline 4-door sedan listed.....I know that
the E and R keys are next to each other on the keyboard but could
this be another mistake of the web developer......or the Diecast Fairy....

There are a few F1 Championship -winning cars in 1/43 either 'in production' or 'development approved' yet I have seen some of these cars available on European websites. How long does it take for us to get these models?
I'm not being impatient,just curious that's all.
Cheers,
Tony.

Richard did you ask Minichamps what was happening with the allocation of models to Australia? eg Renault R25, Webber FW27, Jones FW07B etc

All of these models are in our next delivery from Minichamps. With our closure for Christmas, then Minichamps stopped shipping for stock take, then they had the toy fair, everything conspired to delay our shipment. We are back on track now and the next shipment is MASSIVE!!!!

Is it this one?

As Richard has said. We are told of items when they are developement approved. This is when Biante places its order for a product. We get no new information and no updates on progress while it is going through further development or production. The next we hear of an items arrival is when it is on an invoice and on its way to our warehouse.

The website (Nathan Rzepecki) does not get a list of what is actually in the shipment or what stock we are receiving until it is provided to us by the dealer manager. Once I receive the information it is then update to In Transit and the expected availability date is added to the website. The information about the stock arrival is then also provided in the newsletter.
