I have been trying to find a 1/18 2002 Skaife HRT Commodore for a good price and the cheapest i have found is $189 from gateway models (and thats before you add the postage to NZ), does anyone know of a shop that has them cheaper or does anyone that has one want to sell ??
Thanks

For a driver who is so unpopular (not with me) is it not amazing that the bulk of the releases of his cars SELL out, and they continue to be hard to find on the s/hand market.

:) yeah it is funny is'nt it james i think there must be a lot of Skaife closet fans:D .
And they will all come out of the closet when he finds his form again and starts to win.

i geuss im one of the closet fans, as skaife isn't my favorite driver. but somehow i ended up with his 1997 brock/skaife vs, 1999 vt, & 2002 vx commodores. they really are 3 good looking cars i will have to admit.
2002 was the first full season of v8supercars i got to see on tv here in the states and Skaife kicked major butt that year in the vx commodore so it was a must have car along with murphys k-mart holden finishing 2nd in points and ambroses au falcon that finished 3rd in points. i picked up more 2002 v8supercars than any other year to date. some other worthy cars to pick up from 2002 were lowndes green eyed monster au falcon & perkins last season ride # 11 castrol vx commodore.

Ok well heres an update.. I managed to contact frontline hobbies at ther right time as they had one left for $129 which im pretty happy with.. Willoughbys model cars offered me one for $157 (COA signed by Mark Skaife)..
I just want to know your opinion.. Would you pau an extra $30 or so if a signed COA instead of a non signed one..
BTW i contacted Gatewaymodels and they said they couldnt reduce the price as they were a resonable price for the demand of the product, well something like that anyway.. (i almost choked on fresh air)..

Get the $129 one mate.U've only got to get to 1 round of the V8 series to get Skaife's signature for nothing.:)
Cheers,
Tony.

No. I don't believe a signature that most people at a race meeting can easily get for free should make it worth anymore. I definitely wouldn't pay more if the actual model was signed.

One of the good things with Club1 could take the COA's along and get them signed.
