Hopefully Biante might be able to make Larry's VL cars one day, Wish Larry would let someone make them Biante/CC dont care who does just want them.

The Bob Jane one from 92 the White Perkins engineering one from 90 the HRT from 88 as pictured and if they are going to make his VL's why not his VK's then the 86/87 Enzed cars always looked good. Then there are the ATCC cars gee there are a lot of them bu ti would be happy to purchase them all.

Larry i hope you read this :D

It's amazing how fast Larry's VL Walkinshaw was, especially given all the layers of paint that car gathered in its long racing life with Perkins/SV from 1988 to 1993.

Apart from an amazing front row start at Bathurst in 1992, does anyone remember that car blasted on into the new V8 era in 1993 wearing Castrol colours and those lurid pointed stripes along the front doors ?

Graeme that was a VP with the same type of engine not a VL.

Larry started the 1993 ATCC with the VL and rolled it spectacularly into the sand traps at Symmons Plains.

lukey,

I'll have a dig around during the next few days and see if I can find an image of Larry's 1993 VL to post on this thread.

Cool thanks Graeme i was trying to find it somewhere on the net without much success, I only remember him running the VP for some reason.

It took me a little while to find it, but here goes ... I haven't posted images before, so if all goes well you will see below Larry's VL as raced at the 1993 Triple Challenge at Eastern Creek.

That has to be one ugly car, that paint doesnt suit the VL at all. But i suppose Larry had to run the colours till his VP was ready.

Thanks for the pic Graeme i never realised he ran with that scheme on a VL.

What ever happend to Larry's VL ? Does anybody know?

Running gear from VL went into a new VP chasis for Don Watson. Who crashed and died in practice (Thursday)
at Bathurst in 1994.
