Do u mean Barry Mulholland? McPhee's co-driver?He had one amazing record at Bathurst,a 1st,a 2nd and a 3rd with a total of 3 laps completed!
RIP Barry.

What a shock. BARRY Mulholland was an extremely nice man. I had many conversations with him regarding the HK and also the upcoming XW and to hear this news is terrible.
A sad day for Australian motorsport.
Barry joins former Great Race winners John Roxborgh(1960), Greg Hansford(1993),Tony Roberts(1969) & Ian 'Pete' Geoghegan(1973) up in the sky.

Terrible news for race fans. A truly unique Bathurst winner.

Certainly was. Did Barry have much of a career outside of his one lap a year?
Please excuse my ignorance here.

Without my trusty Bathurst books I can't be overly certain, but I do know he only ran at Bathurst with McPhee. He ran five times, with four podium places! There was a recent AMC article on McPhee and he mentioned Mulholland's ability (perhaps Richard can add something here having spoken to Bruce?), but as I don't have the magazine either I can't comment.

Yes Dingo You are right. He only drove with McPhee. 5 starts 5 finishes. A pretty impressive record. 1964-7th, 1965-2nd, 1966-3rd, 1968-1st and 1969-2nd

This prompted me to have another good look at the 1/18 scale winner.
Just to marvel at all the detail.
Just magic
