...and this would just about round off the Moffat collection, with the Cortina, Phase IV, and A9X from Amaroo 1979.
Unless of course, we see the 1976 ATCC winner at some point.

Nah, they need a Chev Monza, they could do Moffs in a few variations, and the Graeme Whincup version that raced in 79 with Jim Richards at a few rounds. John Briggs had one without the wings as well up to 1980 then the Wing Thing came in ;)

If you are doing his cars, you need 1 RX7 and 1 Rothmans Commodore as well.

My guess is that the RX7's won't happen.

Neither do I Tony, but the RX7 falls into the same category as Brock's Austin A30 - they probably can't justify ROI on the moulds. There's only so many Mazdas you can make/sell...

Must admit I would go for a Moffat Mazda. Another model for bloody decals though.

I can think of the mcloud slick 50 rx7 endurance champion
the Terry shield rx7
the jones rx7 winner of the CRC 300 at amaroo
the alexander rx7
the murray carter rx7.
hansford rx7

Morris won the Oran Park ATCC round in 1984, but it was his only appearance in the ATCC that year. He DNF'ed with Barry Jones at Bathurst that year.

Thanks Matt. I could only remember Bathurst from that year. ;)

Was that Morris' last competitive race before the doctors told him no more?

I guess the Bathurst pole sitting Bluebird of George Fury wouldn't either, as it would fall into this category as well

That's another car I would love to see. About time we got something different. We can only hope! ;)

The '76 Moffat Bathurst XB will complete the collection of the Falcon's he drove at Bathurst (with the exception of the Morris XD of 1980, which will be along at some piont too).
