I recall that Dick's XD ran at different times with Bryan Byrt Ford and Alto Ford signage.

I can also remember in Perth that visiting drivers were often co-sponsored by local dealers, both Holden and Ford, in relation to the ATCC round at Wanneroo ( Barbagallo ).

Hey Jamie, I've been looking at other photos of Dick's XD from ATCC races in 1982.
At the Sandown and Calder rounds the car bore "Bayford of Preston" signage on the rear quarter panels.

I think you'll find that in his early days DJ would have 'local' sponsorships to top-up his main ones. So if an event was at Calder, there might be a Vic Ford dealership featured somewhere on the car.

Just a theory....
