For those who didn't hear, Paul Tracy had a brain fade at the San Jose round of the ChampCar World Series; having gone down an escape road, his efforts to spin turn the car ended with his car in the path of Alex Tagliani's Lola...
Result - both cars out pretty much on the spot...

The result was far funnier than the Ambrose/Murph prequel at Bathurst 05 ;)
Paul Tracy has been having brain fades for as long as I have been watching the Indy/Champ cars. He's had such good equipment over the years and consistently proceeds to destroy them. It's worse when he takes out someone else in the process! Had he been in Formula One, he'd have been booted out. I hope they do something about Tracy and not penalise Tagliani for his despair.
Tumbo,
There was nothing funny about the Ambrose-Murph incident when a backmarker intentionally barges a car capable of winning a race.

Thats a classic, cant wait to see what happens if PT and Tony Stewart have a run in when they are both driving in NASCAR. :D
Maybe they could get Don King to do the promo, imagine the fan fair before the race.:p

It was televised sometime after 2am in Perth this morning - after an hour and a half of Hotdogs and his up-late game show...

Not wanting to start any fight- we all discussed the incident at the time but just on point Murphy like Tagliani, Ambrose and Tracy was no backmarker- he was on the lead lap and trying to stay in front.....doesn't make his or Ambrose's actions any more right.
As for Tracy maybe he thought Tagliani was Dominguez and wanted retribution for the season's first race???

Luckily i taped it last night. I get to watch it over and over again.
Is a shame that they cut to Bourdais' pit stop when the fight started.

Paul Tracy is a clown. When he started he looked like he could be an all time great.
That was one of the most amateurish things I've seen on a race track in a loooong time.
He deserves a ban.

I can't believe he still has a drive after all this time.
