can anyone help me out there?i have one of the two black vn group A's given away by tooheys at bathurst in 1991.i am trying to source the original tooheys decals that were on the rear quarters of the car.im looking for old photos,promos,posters,91 programme anything at all.i understand a forum member fordtj once owned one off them if anyone can help me with any of this it would be greatly appreciated

Its the same as all the others mate , the 2 were just painted after they were purchased by Tooheys.
From factory they were Duriff red.

well it is 1 of a kind becuase that one on the website has had heaps of stuff added to it

Thats the 1 he owns , hence the reason he is after details to return it to its original specs.

I was reading the website and wincing! If you want to do stuff to a Commdore do it to one that isn't limited edition! Taking the original decals off and putting "HSV type" ones on is what you do to a ratty old VL to impress your mates. I like the idea that this car is to be returned to original spec by someone who appreciates what it is....

Quite agree, i wonder how many classics have been destroyed and had purple velvet installed, spinners and blue lights? On the reverse angle, i wonder how many Walkinshaws that were converted back to Berlina-spec cars at the factory, have since been re-converted to full-blown Walkys? I'm guessing that they still carried a build number despite their new body?
