It's unreal how these models seem to show up on Biante even before they are released.
It is going to be on for young and old tomorrow when the model is released.
Lets hope that all the fair dinkum collectors are able to secure one.

Sounds like you are giving up too easy Loste.
You know when they will be available, and I assume how to order so there is no reason why you can't get one through Biante.
Provided you are quick then it shouldn't be too hard (unless you use a work computer, is that the problem?)

Any guess's on how many Biante will have on the site for sale ?

It's just good to know that these cars are going to be produced at sometime in the future. ( HRT 1996, 1997 & 1998 )
Great news.

I think i'll have a 'Big Org#%m' when they release a Cherry Black VS Clubsport. I just love that car.

Hey Glen...
...you're right, the VS clubsport looks sensational, especially in that black. You can pick a good one up for around $25-30k now, so it's probably better to buy the real thing! (bit hard to fit into a display cabinet though, i guess!)...
...and by the way, looking forward to the Marlboro VK, Biante!

Put me down for a VS Clubsport when it gets released.
As if the 95 VR is not good enough. We may possibly also get the 96,97 & 98 cars as well. Can life get any better??
I would be interested though to see what driver combinations they will make the cars in.
Surely the 96 car would have to be the Lowndes/Murphy Bathurst winning car to add to the Bathurst Collection.
The 97 car would have to be the Brock farewell car. That livery rocks.
That leaves the 98 car which was campaigned by Lowndes and Skaife.
I don't really care. Just bring em on!!!

I reckon the 1998 HRT liveries on the VS commodores were awesome (one of the best yet).
I'd like to see the #50 Skaife car, (and Lowndes as well, I guess) and the first Bathurst VT....
...want them now!!!

The holden lovers are in for a feast of great cars in the future if / when all of the above are produced.
I agree...........bring em on.

I hope the Murphy/Lowndes 96 Bathurst Winner is the next of the newer Holdens released... also now that the monaro is being released in road version hopefully we will see some Monaros in race liveries in the not too distant future to add next to the Ford muscle cars ;) ... I will be patient and wait though.

I just did the same loste, although I have memorised all my cc details so I don't have to waste time looking for the damn thing!!! Can't believe my luck. I really wanted this car and was dissapointed to find out they were all out of stock when I got back from Indy. The Gods have smiled on me today.

NOW THAT YOU ARE GOING TO MAKE THE '96,'97,'98 HRT CARS
WILL YOU BE PRODUCING THE VS CARS THAT LOWNDES DROVE AT WINTON IN 1999 AFTER HIS ACCIDENT IN THE REVERSE COLOUR SCHEME?
I FOR ONE WOULD LOVE TO ORDER ONE TO GO ALONG SIDE OF THE REST OF MY LOWNDES COLECTION.
RICHARD IF YOU CAN LET ME KNOW IF THIS IS A POSSIBILITY OF IT BEING MADE IT WOULD BE GREAT.;)

00 - That's a good thought.
The reversed colour scheme would look great next to the other cars.

Hi Guys,
I received my Brock VR on Monday - excellent service BIANTE thanks guys. The model is fantastic!!! Except when I was unpacking it I heard a rattle and thought that was strange what could it be... To my surprise I saw the left headlight cover lying on the bottom of the box :( now to my question - how/what can I use to stick the headlight cover back on?

hi cameron,
if you purchased the model from biante have a talk to them. maybe they can exchange it??
i wouldnt not be tampering around (even if its something simple) with a model that might have been damaged in transit, factory, etc.....

My headlight cover on my Dick Johnson XE was off also and all i used was a couple of tiny spots of supa glue...easy.
Earnhardt-3
07-11-2002, 06:02 AM
...careful with the superglue guys, as it may discolour or whiten the plastic (especially if it's clear)...

Earnhardt-3 is absolutely correct. Super glue whitens or leaves "frosted" residue on clear and metallic silver plastic parts.
For gluing together broken small plastic parts I use Testors "Cement for Plastic models". It leaves absolutely no residue, but on the downside it takes a while for glued parts to bond.

If you must use super glue, do it outside and let it dry with a breeze blowing around it. I remember this from my younger model building days.

The detail on this car is a real credit to Biante, looks great amongst my other bathurst cars. The back of the car changes from blue to black depending on the light. Nice to have a rememberable 05 car.:D

Super glue will not mist or fog if used properly.
Squeeze ONE drop onto something shiny ie not absorbent.
Straighten out a paper clip, dip one end into the drop of glue and then pinpoint touch the surface to be glued.
If it will sit and stick, just leave it, but if it needs support ie an aerial or a part that can move, hold in place and just breathe on it a couple of times and it will be dry, hold firm and leave no residue (mist/fogging)

Thanks Admin!!! Finally got around to trying this and it worked a treat.
This car looks better everytime I look at it! :D Can't wait for more Brocky models.
