Anyone seen any 1:18 older model ford escorts?

Just wondering if anyone out there has evere came across good quality early model (70's-80's) ford escort or ford cortina's in 1:18 or 1:24 scale. Im not having much luck finding out if any have been made or where to find one. On biante/auto- art there has one been on the pipeline for nearly a year.

I to have been looking out for a Mk1 Escort in 1/18 but i don't think any have been made. I know that Troufeu have made some in 1/43 but I haven't seen any other diecast eskis.

Escort Mark ones and twos will be released next year in 1:18th. Minichamps are also doing a German version of the Mark 2 Cortina in 4 door, 2 door and wagon. These are in the catalogues and the shops have placed orders.
AA are doing Lotus Cortina and Cortina GT500.

a 1:18 model mk II escort.... i have just one word to describe it.... SSSHHHWWWWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETTTTT!!! im guessing these cars will become available in 2003? if so does anyone know roughly what time in 2003?
