did have a look at the retailshops here in "yawnstown" and each and every one did have the #2 2006 Skeffy model in stock.
Did have a look at the certificate 1700 ex and still everywhere available!
there is also very little difference between the 2005 and the 2006 machine, so a blek bonnet decal should be able to be fabricated for the ones that need to have the smelly one which did not make it up the talud (hill)
If one cannot sell 1700 of the very best very quickly, one could come to a common sense conclusion.

How similar was the black bonnet last weekend to the HSVDT black bonnets from last season at the start, that is what I thought the bonnets were from. I did not realise the significance until recently....

I hear what your saying Bert, but I do see a lot of unsold Kelly boys cars as well, maybe if they only made a batch of 750 or 500 of the Skaife/Tander car....for me I would like this car because of the Brock factor, bonnet and race deal with 05 on the side of an HRT car

But as Richard said it was not possible to make the car due to other reasons which I respect

I thought the black HSVDT bonnets had the round lion emblem...

Bert, Will you be doing 1:43 black bonnet decals?

Yeah but hasn't the car not been out for all that long? Plus who knows it may have something to do with the late release.

No i think he is talking about early HSVDT cars, which were very very close to the 2004 HRT cars.

I think that was done so you could tell the difference between them and the other red team.

Ahhh, you'd be thinking of the red bonnet with black stripes (http://www.v8supercar.com.au/photogallery/photovi ew.asp?searchtxt=&ind=M&cat=EVNT&pid=184&piid=15377&pnum=2) as used at Adelaide. This differs from the original livery (http://www.v8supercar.com.au/photogallery/photovi ew.asp?searchtxt=&ind=M&cat=EVNT&pid=183&piid=14901&pnum=5) used at the GP.

Brock-Plato did have a black stripe on the side front panels running along the front, and a black flash at the rear top panel a bit of a throwback of the 1976 Torries
I am of the oppinion that the Brock -Plato machine is a real looker.

Bev, your the last person here who I want to annoy, just feels like the cars have come out a bit later in the year compared to years past.

I collect 1:43 and have rarely had them before Bathurst...in fact many times they have been released after the season finishes!
