you could try your local hobby shop, there is one in perth that still have enough to last maybe a week or even two for $166. if you have family of friends in perth you could get them to get you one.

goodluck getting one, its an excellent model.

Yes Stephen I'm in agreeance with you.. why are'nt new models released on weekends,,then we would'nt have this hassle.. Seeing as I can no longer get these models from the local model shop.. and the Biante site sells out quicker than what I can drive as well.. it's very damn frustrating,,, Please address the problem ADMIN.....

Oh boy, part of the reason I signed up for this was in preparation for getting any new Falcon XBs or the Mad Max rides if Biante is indeed doing those. Sounds like I'll need to be quick to snag some though.

Is this a common occurance? When do the models typically get listed for sale? Thanks.

well i got home at 5.45pm the day of the first lot and managed to order one without any hassles. this is around 4 hours after biante 1st released the car.

i dont know, releasing models on the weekend might be a good idea but then again its still gonna be luck. all your doing is decreasing the odds of not getting one.....

There is a stockist in Bathurst called Bob's Trophy Shop at 240 Howick Street.
Lithgow's authorised stockist is Toy Cars at 183 Main Street.

For our Tasmanian collector, there is a new stockist in Wynyard - Wynyard News, who trades 7 days a week.

If you have signed up for the collectors club make sure you have signed up for the newsletter. They tell us when models will be released and the times via the newsletter.

I know of Bob and his trophy shop, and he never seems to have the model Im after in stock, or hes already got a waiting list a mile long for a model Im after.

goto the Biante links pages and you will find as fuller list as I have made so far. Any aditional details would be great.

How is it possible that a model that has 6000 ex. made is sold out in a matter of twenty minutes!
you must be able through the news letter and a prebooking ,to get yourself a steady supply of these models for sure.
or are there people/shops stockpilling these ones?

Based on the time that these models sold out on the site and then with Biante saying that they were to put an extra couple of hundred on next day which would last around 40 minutes ( from memory ). I am guessing that Biante only had around 1500 of the 6000 to sell themselves. ( 25% )

That means there are a lot out at Models shops etc. for collectors to still purchase. ( if not presold )

We didn't have an extra couple of hundred for the site, we had an extra couple of hundred arrive in a container for wholesale stock.

The number of models that we had available for website stock in confidential but I can say that it is nowhere near your estimate.

Richard

I wasn't trying to upset anyone. I understand that you quantities are confidential. I was just having a guess.

As usual my selections ( guess's ) are no good.
May have better luck in the Cup this afternoon.

Biante make great models and as I have said in the past - Half the fun of collecting these models is tracking down the one's you are after if you don't manage to get one when first released.
Sometimes even trying to secure one from the website is a challenge. - Not because of anything Biante do.

That's life............

Keep up the good work.

You didn't upset anyone, I just wanted to correct what was said before anyone else got the wrong idea.

Thanks.

Richard.

Whilst i agree that "Webiste" quantities should be kept confidential, I feel that the "quantity produced" should be stated..

Least that way, we know how many units will be produced.

Just my two bobs worth!!

If you are looking for a model, it always pays to check with their respective dearler (ie Ford & Holden dearships) as there is a great number of them who now stock the Biante product. If you don't have a relaiable source, then this may help.
cheers.
