Hey guys,
Just having a look round the web sites looking for cheap models and I came across this.
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1784779019
No reserve and highest bid to date seems very cheap. I wonder if it is one of the cars from the US with new decals.
One more thing does anyone know if Biante did ever make a 1/43 65E moffat XY? I saw one of those on sold as well and wondered if the same deal has been done to a Track RED Phase 3.

I have a Moffat xygtho 65e in red,1/43 but it's from Trax,a very early model in old style box.I have seen them advertised for about $250.This could be the one you are talking about..jamie

Thanks jamie, this looked very much like an autoart model. Same clear box, cert, etc.

They say that they are a "Code3" Model, re-painted autoart Models..
I did see a 1/18 white A9X re-painted to the Brock red and white Marlborough colours, on e-bay a while ago, looked Great, but why do it to a limited edition model......
any way I guess its each to there own.

with 5 days still to go, yes it seems cheap. wait till the auction closes to really see how cheap this model is.
most of the bidding happens late in the auction and its not surprising to see an item jump $100's in the dying seconds.

I would'nt put a bid on it unless I asked some questions first.
It doesn't mention anything about a certificate or photos of the orginal box.

Bathurstfan,
Yeah I agree with you. I see on ebay there is a guy with the US moffat #1 car, current asking price at $199.
When I saw the price of that car it was the first thing that popped into my head, he has brought the car from the US and paid for the decals here.
Well I just fired him an email asking if it comes with the moffat box and cert.

He emailed me back saying it comes with the correct box and cert.
